Ebola doesn't survive long in the environment. A couple of hours at the most. That's why the mode of transmission is known as direct contact with contaminated body fluids.

It's not going to make it into the water supply. It's also not a high aerosol risk unless it was splashed directly into someones mouth or eyes. Even with direct contact, the virus is still of a type that requires direct entry to your body - either through a cut or scrape or putting the contaminated surface in your mouth or something.

Ebola on dried on surfaces such as doorknobs and countertops can survive for several hours; however, virus in body fluids (such as blood) can survive up to several days at room temperature.
