The applicant chose me (the petitioner) as the agent on DS-261, and I paid the AOS fee about a month ago.

I got my IV fee invoice in the email yesterday, but the person (both name and address) listed on the top of the pdf letter is NOT me. It's someone I don't even know who he is. I have tried to call NVC in the past few weeks but the number never works! No response on the email either.

What should I do now? Please help!

submit new DS-261 - that'll force another look.

OR

call into NVC on Tuesday evening or early Thursday morning - ask for NVC Supervisor - it'll take a supervisor to fix this - maybe can fix over the phone.

What's up? damaged IT system, your data got mangled.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks for the suggestion, Darnell! Just submitted new DS-261. Will keep trying to call NVC - called over 30 times for the past few months but had absolutely no luck at all! The line was always busy.

That person also received a copy of the NVC's email (shown on the recipient list), which really worries me since the IV fee invoice contains all the case information. I googled the name/address/email of that person and started to have a bad feeling. Is it possible that it's an identity theft?

keep trying with the phone.

change yer gear a bit, to auto redial on busy tone,

just like everyone else has done...

if it smells like identity theft, well, time to get busy with NVC, nowish, today. remember - they close at 23:59 EST.
