Please guys explain to me what does ''the alien registration number's change'' story means?? Does it need to be changed ? how we get this number and when?...

I'm so confused !!

Since Oct 20th there are only 2 NOA1 (there are other two, but they are invalid as they are dated Oct 23 and 28 and today is Oct 22). Is there any reason? Is there any problem to USCIS? Is that common?

People here sometimes don't update their timelines as soon as they get the notice thats why it doest show on the timelines if thats what you're referring to.

That was quick. Just got an update on my case (NOA2):

"On October 22, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

My NOA1 was Oct 1.

I was anticipating it taking at least 3 months for the NOA2 so I had already purchased an airline ticket for my fiancee to visit in December. We had plans for her to move here in April 2015 since I'll be gone from Jan-Mar 2015. Anyone know off the top of their head how long you can have the K1 Visa before moving to the U.S.?

Dang!! A few people got there NOA2s already! I hope mine is just as fast!

That is very encouraging, but I will also try not to get my hopes up too much.

Once medical and interview is complete, you have a standard 6 months to utilize the visa. However as far as I am aware, and I'm not sure if it's the same for every consulate -- the time of use technically starts directly after the medical. You may have some reconfiguring of plans to do, congrats. :)

TSC will continue it's moving at a snails pace.... it seems.. :mellow:

Just dropped my I-129F in the mail! Not sure if I'll get an October NOA1, but wanted to post anyway. I text my fiance to say it was in the mail and he replied back "oh my god. I change my mind!!!" :rofl::rofl: what a punk!
