We had to change our interview to Friday the 23rd, I guess we will see each other in line!

She is going to have her medical on Tuesday, and I will arrive Wednesday.

Do you know if we have to provide translations for any of the documents? it's pretty gray in the paper sent whether or not it's actually needed...

Goodluck to you guys!!

I don't think you need to provide translations. I believe the birth certificate will need to be translated for the Green card in the US. But not for the interview.

I am so freaking happy right. Our case was finally sent to the embassy wooo hooo :dancing: Getting an RFE caused a 1 month delay! Anyway I got my case # today. What's next? does anybody know how long it takes to get an interview from this point? Our embassy is in Juarez.

Congrats to all of those that already have their visas.

So I filed in October they changed their date that they are in June files now so my estimate date is changed to April-May I am so confused with this whole process. I am telling my fiance to come to the states on a visitors visa but he is afraid to get denied because of little evidence that ties him back home. Only tie he has is that his mother is back home. Any advice? We were aiming for a August wedding.

:( We are frustrated too, I'm following the October, Nov, and Dec discussions. I started a thread under general discussions, I got in trouble for posting the information in these threads so I'm not really sure how to get the word out without getting in trouble. SO.....can you urge everyone on here to find me under the general discussion? Stef and I are trying to feel a little better about the situation and it may help if everyone sees it. (Its buried booo) The title of the thread is, lets get the word out!

I completely understand how you feel, but why don't you two come on over to the October filers TSC thread, where most of us stuck there are chilling/hanging out/complaining/supporting. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/523533-october-2014-filers-texas-service-center/

Because you are both at TSC, this is why you will be waiting much longer than everyone else. KristinD you're technically a November filer, so you're going to have a longer wait unfortunately.

Yesii75, you're much in the same boat as me and everyone remaining for October at TSC. My estimate if everything keeps on it's current track is that you're looking at April or May for an NOA2. I was hoping for March, but I don't think that will be the case, we'll see. From there you'll be into the consulate stage, so it will be however else long it will take for your appointment. August for a wedding isn't too inaccurate a guess. Remember that once you are approved with visa in hand the beneficiary has 6 months from the date of the medical to enter the US. So once you've got the visa they can enter whenever they are able to. I would suggest holding out on the tourist visa, it may be approved sure, but there is a probable likelihood of it not being approved. I know how hard it is for you both and would encourage you to hang steady. Know that this year you'll be together.

Last year TSC transferred some cases over to CSC, and at CSC people get approved fast. But they often do take longer at CSC to get to the consulate stage. Despite TSC claiming that they are working on June, while there are some cases left for June, they are actually starting to work on July.

Thanks! The November thread rocks too :) but I am keeping up with you guys just not posting much. They moved my other thread into the Twitter Campaign one :( but at least I have one (darn it I'm not trying to get in trouble on here hahahahaa) At least I get to see John in 20 days for about 2 weeks! Flying to Ireland with my child (he's 7) is just way too expensive but at least we're trying to hang every 4 months if we can afford it. I think that October is going to be a good guess when he can come. I feel bad for everyone out there waiting. :(

Hello friend,

Have you gone to this website https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

Click on Check My Visa Application Status, choose Chile, Santiago and put your case number in. This is how you can tell if they have received your file or not.

Do you see anything there?
