We received our case number from NVC by calling them tonight- they said they are finishing up some things with the case and will be forwarded soon. Hopefully everything is on track! When should we expect the local embassy to receive it? I'm guessing possibly by end of next week....?

Can we start the ds-260 online form now or wait still?

WHo knows how long it usually takes to get an RFE hard copy from USCIS? It`s been a week and no letter yet. Now we have to wait until Monday :clock:

Hi, I was curious if anyone who got their NOA2 have had their cases transferred to NVC yet. WSe got our approval on Nov. 12th and hardcopy on the 20th, but case hasn't been transferred yet and they're telling me on the phone could be 35 days. Hope it doesn't take that long but we're headed into holiday season. So I was wondering if anybody else is making progress?

We are on the same timeline as you. We received our NOA2 approval on Nov 12th. Nothing yet from the NVC... Our hope is for a January interview, but we'll take earlier :)

RFE has no sense... really! They gave my fiance a sheet with some questions about his criminal records (the same questions as in our petition).And for me, they asked to fill out the empty spaces under "If your fiance is currently in the USA..." but I am not, according to my G-325A form.

It is a wasting of our and their time...

I am glad that nothing serious, but the same time we have concerns about why did they decide that I am in USA? They asked the I-94 form (number). My fiance called them yesterday to find out, but he was on hold for 25 minutes and he could not reach anyone. We will try today.

Our file also reached the consulate... can i fill and submit the DS-160 now, or do i have to wait for the consulate to contact me first?

I was not sure, so we did not do the DS160 until my fincee received the packet from the consulate. I do not think it really would matter if I did it earlier though.
