Hi guys, I just noticed the mailing address for my fiancee on the I129F is incomplete. Does this mean her packet will never be delivered? How do I fix this? Our case already says "Ready" on the USCIS website...

Hi everybody, well I called the National Visa Center this morning around 8:15EST. It seemed to be a good time because I wasn't on hold but 10 minutes. The man who answered was very nice and said he hadn't seen our petition yet. He also said that USCIS isn't good at transferring the files right when they say they will which we've all guess by now. He said it could take up to 5 weeks to receive our file. He also asked me to stay in touch because they will want to verify some of our information...I wonder if part of that will be they have the correct mailing address as another poster was concerned theirs was incomplete.

Anyway I told him I'll call back next week and seeing how next Thursday is Thanksgiving maybe I'll try and wait till Wednesday and see how things are progressing.

hopefully you get an appointment soon...in the meantime you could get all your stuff ready for medical and interview.

Each country in different. some countries mail out the packets some don't. best bet is to contact the US Embassy where you will be interviewed and ask them or ask someone on here from Tunisia that have done the process before. You could also make a separate thread and ask this specific question. you'll get more inputs that way.

Sometimes your government's website will have them on there for you to print out.. not always, though! Ecuador has theirs online because apparently when they send it in the mail, it can take months and end up never coming! Of course this is just Ecuador. Many people from other countries have stated that they've gotten theirs within a few weeks or a month. Contact your consulate and ask them about it! :)
