Hi guys,

Today we've got an RFE... I do not know what it is about. My boyfriend left to England because of serious family issues. So he is not in the country and I do not know when he will come back. I`ve read about RFE and it says that usually USCIS gives to a petitioner around 80 days to reply. Is that correct? Is it always 80 days or it depends on kind of request?

Thanks in advance.

I received our hard copy of the NOA2 in the mail today. So it only took one week from an email, not bad. I know it seems like time is moving slowly but we're getting there little by little. Now to hope that NVC will get our case number assigned soon and mailed to the embassy.

Our status never changed, it's still "at NVC" that's why I called. I guess they are late updating that info.

You may want to give them a call! ?

Hi, could you please tell me if your status on ceac has changed to ''in transit''?

Hi, I am not sure where to look, I went to CEAC and put my case number and this is what it said in the popup:

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html

Is this what you were looking for?

What is next for me? Does this mean the consulate has our application?

Are they going to schedule the interview for me or can I pick the interview date? I am not sure what to do next...
