Has anyone who filed their I-129F in the past week received their NOA1 alerts? I'm probably driving (definitely driving) my poor fiance crazy asking him every 15 minutes if he's received anything yet. Lol. it was received on the 23rd in the morning, and I'm still waiting. I'm certain I'm being impatient.

Nothing yet, honey! Let`s be patient...it is only Monday afternoon lol... :D USCIS just finished their coffee....

I've been up for hours, and have finished my coffee hours ago. They need to get on my schedule! ;) Hopefully we start getting them soon. It's only the first step and I'm going crazy. Lol.

Aw, don't worry! If I wasn't in Ecuador, I'm sure my fiance would be going crazy asking me if I've gotten anything, too. lolll. but I sent mine Oct 1st and got my NOA1 on Oct 7th, so don't worry! It just takes a little time :) However if it gets to be weeks, and you still haven't gotten it, you should call, because sometimes they lose track of applications. Typically they give a 3 week buffer period, but it normally takes less time than that!

Hahahaha @LadyDi with the USCIS finishing their coffee! I love the image that ChEd has on his with the snail as USCIS.. so true!

I will be a bit more patient then! But just a bit. Maybe. ;)

However, being the over-thinker that I am. I JUST realized that the fee we sent may be wrong? On the site and the page that we got the forms from, it said the fee was $340, but it has raised to $365? Unless I'm clueless here... It didn't say that on the page. Did we do it wrong? And by we, I actually mean me.

Hi,

Sure, print this facetime screenshots and also use as much stuff as you can to prove your relationship. Tickets, hotels receipts, pictures together... just everything you can find. Maybe Western Union receipts, postcards, texts... Good luck!

That's not ALL you have, is it?! Pictures are often good pieces of evidence, too (lots of them- with family members, in different places, etc). Screenshots are good, too, because they can't be "faked" as well as like Microsoft word documents with call logs pasted on them. Facebook posts screenshoted that have dates can be good, too. I'd say any receipts you have, plane tickets/itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps into the country, ring receipts, or anything you've bought for the wedding (dress, venue deposit, etc.) is good. Honestly anything you have dates, your picture, or both your names on is good. Your facetime log is probably a good piece, but don't forget other ones, too! Fiance & I didn't use email much, either. We texted and Facebooked/Skyped! :D

I hope so LadyDi! I'm waiting to be overly excited and realize I was panicking over nothing. Lol.

And in the age of Skype and Facetime, it has to be harder. We don't email or call each other on the phone. It's years worth of texts and a year worth of Facetime and Skype, where we talk, not really type. Though we have lots of pictures, boarding passes, etc. I'm hoping I won't need any extra stuff until it's interview time, in what feels like years.

Really?! I hope so! I think they're a little backed up, so as long as everyone's packets are all together and not missing anything, I'm hoping we'll all get our NOA2s in less than. Let's go, TSC! We believe in youuuu!! :dancing: hahah

Yes, some cases are moving too fast..less than a month! as long as all papers/information are complete..make their job easy by sending them all the information they needed. In some cases where NOA2 is slow, background investigation of petitioner is rigid. Well, let just pray and hope that our papers goes to the right people who do their job fast!:)

Yes! Rigid? Do you think that's only when either the petitioner or the beneficary has some kind of 'serious' blip on their record? Cause I can't forsee any problems for my fiance & I.. we've never had any problems with the law or anything! No arrests, crimes, theft, run ins with the law, anything like that. I'd assume that would be the case with a lot of people, and if there is anything, I'd assume it's not super serious. I mean, I have gotten a driving ticket for my brakelights being out, LOL, but that's about it!

Having a lawyer (and he's also a family friend!) help us with the paperwork was such a big help. Really helped keep everything together and ready for USCIS! Couldn't believe how huge it was, though.. like a BOOK.

We are using e-mail and phone - this is like the most used, than Skype, Viber used before.... We put pictures where we travel together, detailed phone bill, flights, hotel receipts, stamps in his passport, my expired USA visa, Western Union, screenshots of Skype, texts. I think that`s it. I hope USCIS would be happy enough and won`t send us an RFE :ranting: ... We`ve been apart for one year.... It is so exhausting to wait... :clock:
