Congratulations!!! :dancing::thumbs:

But nothing you can do to move the process faster. Just prepare your financial documents for the interview and also ask your fiance to get prepared for the medical exam before the interview. I think that is all you can do here.

Good luck!

Hello! Newbie here...

Just sent all the docs required from me to the USA so our application hasn't actually been sent to USCIS yet so I'm not sure if I count as an October filer but my partner and I have just embarked on the K1 visa process and I wanted to say hello and wish everyone luck!

In reality it'll probably be November before mine is filed so technically I'm an imposter haha :')

I have been reading through VJ for a few days now and it has been so helpful so far!

UGH. So discouraged reading all of the posts on all of this. We were trying to get things done earlier and ended up not getting ours filed until the beginning of October, and we wanted to spend Christmas together and have our civil ceremony on the day we met in January. :( Now I'm totally out of hope seeing as of course the Texas service center is backed up. WHY would they send so many applications there?! It has the most amount of people and is SO slow. 5 months?! I read that they JUST filed documents from MARCH!!! Ugh! I can't even believe it. Fiance & I are devastated. But we're also a little glad to know so many people share our pain. :( Glad that we can keep updated with everyone else's stories, too!

Don't get too upset yet, someone from TSC just got their NOA2 after 20 days.

It's ok, you have the rest of your lives to spend together... a few more months of pain, but it will be worth it! Hopefully it will go a little faster than you are expecting. Don't be too discouraged.

Hi there :-) We'll probably be stuck waiting the same amount of time. Take heart okay? If you've waited so long already what's a few more months eh? It's hard, but it will be that much sweeter when you see your loved one again. You never know, we could get eventually transferred.

At first I was kinda irritated (but still happy for those people) from CSC getting approved so fast but after I thought about it.... We (me and my fiancé) really NEED a wait. He has a house and so many things to take care of in Canada before he moves. I have a million things at my house to get ready. If we got approved that fast, I think it would just be more stressful for us.

So congrats to all who were approved so fast. I'm truly happy for you.

Now that I posted that I need the wait from TSC, watch us get approved fast. I might have jinxed myself haha
