Hello, I am a resident since June 2011. I am married since May 2012. By May 2015, I will be married three years. Ergo, can I submit my citizenship application in February 2015, 90 days before being eligible? Or do I have to count back from June 2015?

No. You can apply 90 days before you have been a resident for 3 years, but you have to have been married for 3 years at the time you apply. The 90 day early filing applies only to the residency date and not to your marriage anniversary.

You can file in May 2015.

Also, your spouse must have been a US citizen for 3 years at the time you apply.

Alternatively, you can wait until March 2016 and apply based on being a resident for 5 years - 90 days. In that case, you won't have to worry about providing marriage-related evidence.
