Divorcing spouse (GA/Nigeria)

How does one go about getting a divorce while the spouse is still abroad? I reside in the state of Georgia, spouse is in Nigeria. I am aware of service by publication. Just want to hear from any that have successfully divorced their spouse or those that know of anyone 1st hand that has. Thanks!
