I think they're just covering their backs. I've seen sept cc's already. Even a sept 15! So we can always hope!

Yeah just for documents received

Oh really, how long has it been taking?

They just must be sending out the 60 day email to cover their backs I guess :)

Finally case closed!

My IV scan date was Aug 21, and AOS checklist scan date was Oct 2 because we didn't notice the checklist email which was sent on Aug 29.

I noticed my AOS fee status changed from paid ti n/a and so I called NVC to check my case.

She said my case is closed on Oct 20. So it didn't take for 60days, it took only for 18days.

I was at NVC stage from April..now I am so happy.

Thank you so so much everybody!

Woohoo!! Congrats to you guys!!! what a relief it must be! Good luck moving forward!!

It really seems as though if the checklist gets sent before the other package gets reviewed they are being reviewed with the earlier scanned package. It seems as tough that's the case with people having scan dates in later September and even October. But people with only checklists to be reviewed are still waiting, like msc with a scan date of Aug 29.

I checked the website twice this morning and the second time the AOS fee changed from "Paid" to "N/A." I then called NVC to confirm. Also, the rep said they finished scheduling November interviews on Friday 10/17 and that I will have to wait for a December interview date.

Yaay! I've been MIA lately on this thread...just got our package sent today (10/21) - I'll post my delay in a new message so others can perhaps benefit (or the few that are in my neck of the woods...) But congrats, we will probably have almost the same scan date together so let's see what happens...praying for both of us!!

FYI I saw somewhere that it is better to just paperclip? I know you already sent it but it's just for the fact that the reps will have to 'unstaple' and that takes more time away from them.

I sent in my package yesterday 10/20/2014 and it was delivered this morning 10/21! I'm hoping they scan it in their system by tomorrow 10/22 and my 60 days begin. B/c of the many upcoming holidays in the USA, I am not expecting a CC until about the very end of December (30th perhaps).

I'm so excited and so happy at the same time that i am done with putting things together and paying fees. All I am doing now is praying to my Lord Jesuschrist that I do not get a checklist!

Best of luck to you too! :)

 God's timing is always perfect. . . :star:"Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!" (Luke 1:45) ^_^

I believe they also look at the priority date... They seems to want to close immediate relative cases before 365 days... October Mumbai scheduled 566 interviews... IR-5 (32%), CR1/IR1 (20%), F4 (25%)
