Just for your information, the supervisors at the NVC do call back and are very nice. I have a problem with not receiving my I V Bill and I called the NVC yesterday and asked for a supervisor. She told me what the problem was, She also told me she was going to take care of it for me and she was going to call me back today. This morning at 7:30 AM I received a call from her telling me that the problem has been fixed in my IV bill she show up any minute now. So for those of you that don't have any hope of a supervisor calling you back, keep your hopes up because they do.

08-07-2014.-------AOS bill recieved and paid

08-09-2014. ---- AOS showed as PAID
08-07-2014. ---- AOS package shipped to NVC
08-19-2014 --- AOS scanned in

08-20-2014. --- IV bill received and paid

08-20-2014. --- IV package sent to NVC

08-23-2014. --- DS-260 submitted
08-28-2014. --- IV package received at NVC
10-15-2014. --- AOS reviewed and approved.

Good morning.

We have requested an expedite on our case. We have not received an answer as of today. I have both our AOS and IV packets ready to ship tomorrow. Shold I wait to see if the expdite request is approved before I send in the packets? It is my understanding that if the request is not approved things will fall back into the same place where they left off.

Anyone with 8/27 got cc?? My last scan date is 8/27 hope i get cc soon....

QUESTION RE IV PACKAGE:



I was looking through the Document Cover Sheet they provided (this is not the Bar-Coded Sheet), and noticed that it says to put the docs in the order they have them. So for me, first comes Birth Certificate and then Marriage Certificate, Photos, and then at the bottom it says to include Translations.



Does this mean that any translations (I am including for Marriage & Birth Certificate) should not be attached to the certified birth certificate and marriage certificate right? The translations should be placed on their own after the photographs right?



I'm just scared that they will see the certificates, assume there are no translations and give me a checklist. Anyone who has had to use this document cover sheet, can you enlighten me?

10/10/14: Paid AOS bill
10/16/14: Paid IV bill
10/18/14: Completed DS-260
10/21/14: AOS & IV received / scan date
12/15/14: Case Complete (N/A then phone confirmation)
02/18/15: Biometrics Appt.
02/25/15: Consular Interview (APPROVED!!)
03/05/15: POE at San Ysidro Port of Entry (by car)

My case has last scan date sep 26 for civil document and AOS scan date 15th aug but they saying they will review both package together and now i realized that i made mistake in AOS form so it will delay my process? Can i send new Aos without checklist? Any idea please share

If you are sure that it is a mistake, I will advise to go ahead and send it ASAP. However, be prepared that the last scan date will be reset to whenever they receive the last document from your side. If you wait for a checklist, you will have to wait for sixty days from your response to the checklist.
