Guys there is a request. Can u please write ur scan date with the message which says u have a case complete or that any of ur documents are approved? Thanks :)

AOA I have a question . Do we have to obtain and submit a court and prison certificate even we don't have a record, never been arrested and never been in court or jail (Allah maaf kary ). Please let me know, if u have time.

Lol no. U only need a police certificate. Even that people say is not required from Pakistan but I sent it regardless and my IV got approved without issues. So just get it from ur local police station send them the original.

I notice in your signature there is no mention of the DS-261. You did fill that out, right? It's the review of this form that leads to the IV bill being unlocked.

Hi, yes sorry. It happened the same day I paid the AOS feel, 27th of June. I forgot to add it to the signature. I check every day to see if we can pay the IV bill but nothing yet.

Legal Marriage: 10/10/13

Ceremony in Japan: 10/13/13

mailed I-130 from Japan: 11/05/13

Received NOA1 e-mail: 11/15/13

Received NOA1 hard copy: 11/21/2013

**case sent to Nebraska Service Center**

Received NOA2 from website: 05/08/14

Received NOA2 hard copy to foreign address 5/12/14

**177 days from NOA1 to NOA2**

NVC received case 5/21/14

Called to get case number and they couldn't assign it yet: 6/12/2014

Called and talked to supervisor to get assigned case# and IIN (after calling 2x and having trouble with one particular representative saying my case number could not be given yet: 6/24/14

Email from NVC and completed AOS fee payment: 6/27/14

DS-261 completed: 6/27/2014

Mailed AOS package 6/30/14

E-mailed change of embassy request (this is a major setback, they said this was the reason we couldn't pay IV bill): 7/20/2014

Change of embassy request accepted: 10/7/2014 *49 days to get approved embassy change*

**Was told 2x to call back in two weeks to see if IV is available to pay**

AOS Checklist via email, 2 mistakes to fix: 10/7/2014

AOS Corrections mailed: 10/10/2014

IV bill became available and paid: 10/24/2014

IV bill showed as paid in NVC system: 10/27/2014

IV package mailed by husband in France: 10/30/2014

hi thanks for all the prayers because seems like it worked! todays was my anniversary and we got back together! I have my physical tomorrow and already got the embassy letter for nov 6th :)))) wish me luck

does the DS 261 show as completed on CEAC website, did you log in as applicant when filling the DS 261 out, was it completed correctly? call NVC speak to a supervisor, this is not right.

Latest cc till now? My scan date is 29th august. Feeling positive..

I think I saw one aug 22 somewhere last Friday. And also someone with aug 27 got AOS fee changed to n/a. This week should be ur week :)

My first anniversary was on 9/25/14 :cry: I know the feeling... Hopefully we get a cc soon, my last scan is 8/27

8 Days and its my 1st Anniversary of being married, and going to spend it alone without her.

I filed my AOS on Aug 2nd and IV on Sept 12th.

On Oct 3rd I got an eMail from NVC requesting I correct a mistake on my paper. Basically my accountant messed up on initial tax return and I got it amended and I attached Account Record because Account Transcript doesn't update per IRS and still shows the old Total Income. So I went ahead and used old transcript and fixed my 864 accordingly as per my talk with Jim from NVC, and hopefully they look at it and approve fast.

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to check the RFE? Cause this wait is pain staking.

What holidays is NVC close today??? My scan date is August 28 I hope to hear something this week inshallah!!!

Yes they are closed today because it's Columbus day in the USA. So sad!!

Does anyone know if they delay reveiwing the AOS until they have received the IV package?

My situation is as follows:

- Sent AOS package scan date Aug 7.

- Waited for fee to be unlocked and paid until sending IV package.

- IV package scan date 9/24.

- 60 day letter received shortly thereafter.

I'm wondering if they should have reviewed the AOS package already and now will review the IV after the 60 days. I'm pretty scared about a checklist on my AOS, am I in the clear yet or no? Thanks in advance for any advice/similar experiences!
