My attorney sent our AOS and IV separately

So I told him that NVC says that we should send both packages together.

Then he replied "I confirmed that okay with NVC, and both packages eventually reach the same place, NVC office".

May I certainly trust him??

Our packages have already arrived NVC this morning, so anyway I can do nothing but wait for NVC's reply...

I believe they are checked by two separate groups. As long as both packages were shipped and arrived the same day, it shouldn't be a problem since scan dates would be similar anyway.

This is an email I received today from NVC:

Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

My AOS and IV Fee are both say PAY NOW.. does it mean i should pay both now? Thanks in advance

This is what I can't understand, you somehow got both bills ready to be paid, yet I've been waiting for my IV bill for a while now and it hasn't come through yet! I'm leaving in 9 days to go be with my wife and I would hate to not be able to pay for it before I leave . I wonder why you had both bills and most people get them separately...ugh...

Pay whatever you can pay at this point. The earlier the fees are available to pay, the better.

Actually....that is your case complete, congratulations. It just means they will be scheduling you for your interview as soon as one becomes available.

My husband was in Brazil with me when our AOS Bill was invoiced, so here it goes my piece of advice:

Have your routing and account number from your US bank account and you'll be able to pay the fees anywhere in the globe which has an Internet conection.

Unfortunately, the IV fee is only unlocked after the review the DS-261. For some people both fees are unlocked together because they have an attorney since the beginning of the case, so they skip the DS261 step. :/

Hopefully you'll receive your fee invoice soon! Some people are sending both packages even before they pay it...try to read about it and make your decision.

This email is auto-sent a week after actual cc, which means you got it on October 2nd. You may very well have an interview scheduled already. Call and ask specifically if it is so.

Hello Guys,

I had my interview on 7th Oct at Mumbai-India Embassy. CO said everything is fine and they gave 221(g) and ask me to submit those docs and passport in VFS dropbox. Then I submitted my Joint sponsor W2 2013 which mentioned in 221(g) to VFS on 8th Oct. Yesterday they delivered my package to embassy. CEAC status is AP and last updated status is 09 Oct. Now I am waiting for Visa Approval... Any one can help me .. Any experiences in this situation, How long they will take to issue visa.??

We have booked tickets one month before for 18th Oct..
