Hi just wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat as me, I received a letter from USCIS saying that my case had been shipped to NVC on October 1st, yet my case was approved September 10th. How long will they take to process my case and get me a Case #, IIN #, etc? Seems as though certain people got these numbers assigned to their cases already despite getting approved a lot later then September 10th. Any thoughts? Is someone in a similar boat...?

I don't know which date our AOS fee status changed from paid to N/A but we had a case compete on 30th Sept and received our email last night (7th Oct) - 1 week.

Incidentally the 7th was our 60th day from NVC receipt of our IV and AOS packets.

A whole week for them to send an email...

Did you call them before and found out that your case was complete on Sep 30th?

My AOS status changed to N/A today, but no e-mail yet. I will call them tomorrow to find out what is going on.

Are they still scheduling interviews for November?

I need someone help please:

I don't have a attorney for NVC process and today I got the checklist for AOS package, even though I have reviewed my forms throughly before sending it. My father in-law is the joint sponsor for AOS so I have filled out two i864 forms one for my wife and one for joint sponsor.

I have all the tax transcripts from last 3 years for both of them - since my wife didn't work last year I have included my father-in-law as joint sponsor and now the checklist says:

With my (Father in law's name)

[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

I have double check the tax transcripts for 2013 (Current year) and the gross income is still the same as I mentioned in the form

What could be the problem?

My father-in-law has his own business (Vet Clinic) so he filled 1040 jointly with his wife. We didn't included anything for his wife because she doesn't work. ??

I don't know how to approach this issue?
