Congrats!! What was ur scan date?

It was September 5th, but clearly they went by my AOS package which was August 12th. I'm doing EP and sent in my AOS and IV packages before paying my IV bill. I presume when it was time to review my AOS package, since everything was there, they reviewed everything together.

Thanks for your wishes, and good luck to you too :)

I literally just got off the phone with a 9th NVC rep and she as well looked up the requirements for what I have to send them, she said that per DR requirements, NVC does NOT need police certificate here, and I told her your story and about your lawyer. Her reply was that maybe your lawyer was being very careful as a precaution, but she reassured me that I will NOT get checklisted for that reason. I asked her to please ask her supervisor, she was so nice and put me on hold for about 5 minutes, she then came back and said that yes in fact they do NOT need it here, but yes for the interview at DR. I'm still praying that all goes well for all of us here in this long journey.

gotcha …i wouldn't worry then since you received the same answer continuously …perhaps they were right about my lawyer just being extra careful …thanks and good luck again!! :)

Just got off the phone with NVC. The other posters are correct about the 60 days starting from the date of the last package sent.

From my timeline, you'll see that I re-submitted my AOS (original scan date is 12 August) because I noticed an error on one of the I-864s. I sent the corrected I-864s and my new scan date is 11 September.

The woman I spoke with said that this is the new date from which they begin counting the 60 days. She also confirmed that during those 60 days they will review all the material they have at once to avoid false checklists, etc. I can expect to hear the good news (CC) or bad news (checklist) by 11 November.

It's a bummer that I won't hear anything for the next month, but I suppose this is a more convenient way to get things processed. Just an FYI.

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if the 60 days starts from the day the DS260 was submitted(accepted) or if it goes off of the day they received my IV package?

And

Is it 60 business days or just 60 days?

Soo sad and ready for my hubbie to be with me! Its almost a year from the date we sent off our I-130

This is totally unfair and bsh..t!!

If my AOS scan date is August 22nd and by then the "only one packet" policy was not ongoing, Why should i lose 20 days in my case (my IV scan date is Sept 11th too)?

I have the right to have my AOS reviewed before just in case I might get a checklist. They jump over the correct policy (on first come first served basis...)

I am very confused with the NVC maybe someone can help me here, I am the petitioner for 3 applicants

1st. applicant AOS scan date 1 Aug and IV documents Sep 5 - NVC said they didn’t reviewed my AOS that it will be review until Sep 5.

2nd and 3rd applicants AOS scan date 22 Aug and IV documents Sep 5 - NVC is saying that the will review first my AOS and then my IV documents.

I am confused why one applicant that packages will be review together and the other 2 will be review separate... anyone here with the same scenario? I asked the NVC representative and all the said is that they don’t know...

Why people (like me) arent doing EP must be discriminated on this?

I would like to have ALL my stuff reviewed on my first scan date too

:dancing: WOOHOO!!!!! CASE COMPLETE!!!! :dancing:

Called this morning and got a case complete as of yesterday. My last scan date was September 5th, however, I presume they went by my AOS scan date of August 12th. I'm doing EP and sent in both AOS and IV packages before paying the IV fee or completing the DS260. Since everything was there when it was time to review my AOS package, they decided to review everything together.

Congratulations!!!!! So happy to see so many people cc so I have hope to see mine soon as well!!!!!!

Long story short...my 2013 taxes had to be amended due to a mistake by my accountant. We sent in the 1040x last week. It is not a "big deal" in that it doesn't change the amount of tax owed or anything, but could have sent up a red flag at NVC. So now I find out it will be 12 WEEKS until I can get a new tax transcript- according to IRS timeline. This puts our case back 3 months before I can even send in the AOS packet...all other docs are in place. I know the "highly recommended" option is to include 3 years of official tax transcripts...but does anyone have any other suggestions besides putting this whole process back 3 months. Like- could my accountant write a letter, or could I include a "copy" of my 2013 taxes? I can't believe this...

Although NVC prefers tax transcripts, it's not the only accepted documentation. You can still alternatively send copies of the ENTIRE tax return (1040, W2s, 1099s, schedules, worksheets, etc), and in your case the 1040X as well.

Sorry I ment ceac nvc website SORRY

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Note: if you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.
