I received it through snail mail and it was sent September 30 ? For the IV bill do I put my husbands invoice or mine cause I keep using my invoice?

Keep checking, they unlocked mine the same day as we received the 'expedite approved' email. I paid Friday. The payment went through today and I just filled out and submitted the DS260 tonight.

There were a few CCs with dates of 8/15 and one if 8/18 i believe.

Not all of us have that luxury :P Since I moved here in 2011, I've always worked Black Friday, this year included. At least it won't be at 4 in the morning though with this new job I got earlier this year, phew! (My last job was at Target. SCARY place on Black Friday!!)

In case there are fellow Dominicans here, I was told by every single NVC employee that I spoke with that the police certificate and passport pics are NOT needed for NVC processing, but are needed for sure at the interview . I sent everything they ask for except those things. We will bring them to the interview instead, and also wanted to mention that every country is different when it comes to rules on what to send to NVC and or the interview.

You will have checklist if u do that.. so don't or you will have to wait 60 days after checklist... i heard lots of same story.. they got checklist bcoz of not including PC in their packet.

We got checklist for PCC so pls include it

OMG!!!! I just got back from my trip (went to Vegas with hubby to celebrate our 1yr anniversary), checked the CEAC site and my AOS fee is showing N/A. Going to call first thing in the morning....fingers crossed for a case complete!

December 2010: Met through Facebook and began chatting

October 1, 2013: Married

USCIS

December 23rd, 2013: I-130 Package received at the Phoenix Lockbox

June 19th, 2014: Confirmation received - case shipped to NVC

NVC

July 1st, 2014: Case received at NVC

October 6th, 2014: Case Complete

November 25th, 2014: Interview at the Montreal Consulate - APPROVED!!!!

December 1st, 2014: Visa in hand

The Big Move

December 27th, 2014: Moved to Dallas, Tx

Removal of Conditions

November 7, 2016: Case received at CSC

November 9, 2016: Check cashed

December 18, 2017: InfoPass at Dallas Field Office - I-551 stamp in passport

April 11, 2018: Case was updated: Card being produced.

April 12, 2018: Case was updated: Approval (with approval date of 04/11/18).

I understand that PCC is considered unobtainable from some countries, but surely NVC requires passport copies from all applicants! Why take a high checklist risk by not sending something you already have? Has your case been expedited by any chance?

I strongly recommend that you discount what NVC reps say if it contradicts what fellow VJ members from the Dominican Republic tell you.

For what it's worth, here is what the Visa Reciprocity page says for this country:

Police Records

Available. A certificate, called a "Certificate of No Judicial Records" (Certificado de No Antecendentes Judiciales), is obtainable by both Dominicans and non-Dominicans 18 years or older who permanently reside in or have resided in the Dominican Republic.

21-MAR-2014 I-140 + PP sent to USCIS

31-MAR-2014 Petition approved

16-APR-2014 Case shipped to NVC

29-APR-2014 Case received by NVC
