I am trying to get ready for AOS docs, I checked online that I can print tax transcript right away(online), can I just print it out and send it to NVC or do I have to order it in mail and then send to NVC? I just wanted to make sure that I am not making any mistake. Thanks for you help

Well, I printed it right off online and sent them in. When you request them online, it'll ask you the purpose, and of course you'll say immigration. But let's see what other people have to say.

Has anybody got any of the packages approved lately OR Is NVC reviewing both packages with the later scan date ..for eg if your 1 package has scan date in aug and 2 package scan date sep ...both the packages will be reviewed in september? Please share your experiences..

My husband ordered his online and sent them to NVC. Our AOS was approved without checklist.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Called NVC today... seems to be a slow day as I got through on the second try and only had to wait 20 minutes. Todd answered and sounded tired or bored. Our AOS packet was scanned August 4 and IV August 20. No update for us :( , but as I said, might be a good day to call!He

Hello

did they clarify whether they will scan packages based on their scan dates or both packages on 20 th Aug

Thanks

I spoke to NVC today and yesterday and was told both times that starting yesterday nothing would be reviewed until 60 days from your most recent scan date.

Yes, I spoke with an operator yesterday and today and both said that if more than one piece of mail waiting to be reviewed all would be reviewed on the most recent scan date. I also requested a supervisor to call me and I will confirm again when he/she does. My Iv scan is 8/8 and Aos checklist correction on 8/15 and on doc on 9/9. I was told nothing will be reviewed until 9/9. this could really prolong things for us if we were to get a checklist on our IV.

If you already have your case #, call again and ask for your Invoice Identification Number (IIN). Once you have those two, you can log into the CEAC website and if AOS and DS-261 are available, you can fill out DS-261 and pay AOS fee.

You will also receive a Welcome email from NVC.

My husband ordered his online and sent them to NVC. Our AOS was approved without checklist.

When you say he ordered his online, do you mean he printed them off the IRS online website or he placed an order for copies to be mailed to him?

It seems like nvc had a reasonably productive week this week. I hope it keeps up.

I finished the ds-260 this afternoon. I'm so glad that I figured out all my old addresses beforehand, that was a nightmare. I'm bummed that i spent a while figuring out my employment dates and they didn't even ask me that. Oh well.

Last scan date was 9/12, got a month or so to go, hoping for no checklists but expecting one. Our joint sponsor's main income is from non-taxable military benefits. He's way over the poverty line, but it doesn't show on his taxes. We sent copies of all his awards, but I expect a checklist since it's different than "normal".

Your welcome, happy to help :) Make sure you read Saylin's WiKi on the NVC process (first post of this thread). Has great info but you need to read it a few times to capture all of the great info on there.

I received my case # and IIN on 9/17 & filled out the DS-261 on 9/18. NVC told me that I needed to wait up to 20 business days from 9/18 to receive my welcome email and for my AOS fee to be unlocked. Just fyi in case you don't get it right away. Hopefully, they speed up and we can get our AOS unlocked asap!

As far as IIN goes, you need that and case # for everything on CEAC website so make sure you get it and writ it down somewhere safe. Best of luck! :)

That's great, thank you! I printed mine already and would hate to have to place an order to receive copies by mail. We know how slow the government works! Lol
