I was told by a supervisor that they won't allow that since the police certificate is the most important document. Sounds like BULL to me but that was what they told me yesterday.

Ohh.. k ... mine they said might take 30 days... Anyway I will be sending another set Monday/Tuesday...

the nvc site says

"After you collect your Affidavit of Support form(s) and financial evidence in Step 4, and supporting documents in Step 5, you must submit all of the documents in ONE package to the NVC. Your case may be significantly delayed if you fail to submit all of your documents in one package."

how come this is possible when they lock the IV fees after 1 month of the AOS fees??

as i know that u should have the IV cover sheet also on the documents??

It seems after reading the interview thread for canada sometimes they are and sometimes they are not.

Nigel78 just posted their experience for K1 visa at the montreal consulate and apparently her husband was with her, though apparently it didn't seem clear if he was there with her or not at the time of the interview. you can read her experience on interview thread for canada.

thank you Targetnovember14 for your quick response. I thought it was ok but saw somebody who had interview and said they had to wait outside of interview room.

Yup, the USC can go inside the consulate (make sure they have their US passport), can go up to all the windows, and go into the little interview room as well. When I was at my interview, there was a fellow VJ couple and I saw the USC (she was the VJ member in this case) go everywhere. She was the organized one ;)

thank you

Saylin thank you for your quick response. I thought it was ok but saw somebody who had interview and said they had to wait outside of interview room

Fore those who have been following; a new calculation formula for CC:

CC = (0.7751 x IV ScanDate) + 102.22

where IV ScanDate is a numbered day of the year. CC is also a numbered day of the year. Correlation between IV and CC is now at 75.27%. Error in CC is plus or minus 6.37 days, but I would make it plus 6.37days to predict a worse case scenario.

Note: This is only a trend for predicting a CC. PREDICTION ONLY!

They have his Austrslian Police check... They needed that...

But It...

Turns out I was right!!! they don't need his New Zealand police certificate at NVC right now ..... I have to order and have it sent to the embassy. But it's in the system saying I need it now so i got check listed. I said great problem solved I don't need it. She said sorry. Since it was checklisted it will be at least 42 days before it gets reviewed. I said there's nothing to review... You put in the file that it's not needed. She said yes but it still has to be reviewed and it will be 42 days... She said try to speak to a supervisor later (non available now) and see if they can review in less days!! She was actually quite nice. Arghhhh!!!!!

Oh no, no no. This is what happened to us this week although not for a checklist. We sent them an email on August 8th. They never read it until Sept 17th but they are using that as our last scan date. It is SO ridiculous. There is nothing we can do though. I have had the worst week. so hoped we would be back with my husband and the children with Dad for Xmas but alas it is not to be. We spoke to two supervisors and they won't do anything. I really am sorry for you. Perhaps we will see each other at a January interview!
