Good afternoon Saylin,

Do you know if at the interview in Montreal me the wife is allowed to go in with the beneficiary the husband. I know i can go in and submit dics at window but at interview?? Do you know? Thanks

Yup, the USC can go inside the consulate (make sure they have their US passport), can go up to all the windows, and go into the little interview room as well. When I was at my interview, there was a fellow VJ couple and I saw the USC (she was the VJ member in this case) go everywhere. She was the organized one ;)

Congrats to all the case completes...

My case finished the supervisor review and the police certificate I sent in was from the wrong agency. I wasn't aware there was more than one in the Philippines. Anyway it took 9 days from when I received the checklist, that I was originally told by 2 operators and a supervisor not to worry it was just a reminder email, to have them look into it. Then come back and tell me it was from the wrong agency. The new 60 day wait is hard enough. Now it's an additional 9 days on top of that. Had I taken the first operator's word, who knows how much more time would have been lost. Or if the checklist email explained what the issue was, I wouldn't have lost the extra 9 days. The worst that could have happened is, when I got the checklist I just sent in the same document because at the time I didn't know it was the wrong one.

So frustrated and angry..

Anyway my scan date was September 15 and since I got the checklist on the 20th, I would guess it was being or was about to be reviewed then.

I was told by a supervisor that they won't allow that since the police certificate is the most important document. Sounds like BULL to me but that was what they told me yesterday.
