hi Guys..

I have a question plz.. I just paid the AOS fees, and it's turned to PAID at ceas site..

now should i send both packages together.. AOS and civil documents or just the AOS ??

what is the IV fee for?? and when do i pay it??

thanks aloooooooooooooooooooot :)

You can send both of them out but the problem is you don't have the cover letter for IV as you have not paid the IV fees.

If you do send out the IV together, just call them later to confirm they are in receipt of the same. They are going to review both AOS and IV at the same time anyways.

My case is reviewed, talked with nvc representative like 2 hours ago. They told me my IV package is fine just in AOS package they said I have missing 2013 tax and I-1864. We have joint sponsor and her stuffs are all fine just my wife\petitioners docs they messed up. I remember we put there filled form plus letter explaining that why my wifes tax papers aren't there, reason is simple she never applied, never worked. So what they demand I exained in letter why I disint put petitioner sponsors taxes and why petitioners form is filled not fully. Officer asked me I needed to exain it BG letter and I said package is including such letter and she said me I will put your case under supervisor and in one week call us. I sad ok. There is two way or they lost some certain papers or someone was damn #### who was reviewing case. Anyways i expect supervisor will see all of no I have to send filled I-1864 by petitioner and letter explaining why we don't send petitioners tax papers and why form is not filled fully. Isn't fully bc we don't have information from tax returns bc we don't have one. So I am kinda of ipset! I could have cd for now. Guys I have question of it will happen suck that they will want extra papers from me how bad will it make process delayed? Like when demanded papers will get in their building after how much time will they review it? Thanks all! Congratulating previous cc cases

If its a checklist, expect the 60 days wait for them to process the newly sent documents.

Hi Guys,

My wife finished her studies in France and is now moving back to her home country which is China. Her case number starts with PRS(Paris) and her consulate is listed as Paris, France. Does anyone know how I can change her consulate to China since she is going back to China tomorrow?

I am also concerned that if I make a change that the 60 days will start all over again while we are awaiting case complete. Feedback please!!

Thanks~

Question about IV fee bill:

I have taken care of the DS-261 both for wife and step son.

No problems paying the AOS fees (Online at NVC)

Then yesterday received email from NVC for IV fee bill for wife only.

I log into NVC Fow wife case ant it shows paynow for a fee of 325$

But for step son it shows nothing.

Should i pay the wifes IV fee now or wait and see if step son get IV bill/

Thanks

I just got off the phone with Nvc and they said its 60 days from my Iv scan date but I have seen approvals before their 60 days. I don't know what to believe anymore. The other day they said that they might review both together. Tomorrow I am calling and speaking with someone else. That's not fair at all.

Sorry, it's not letting me type.

I WAS SAYING THAT U NEED TO PAY ONLY FOR UR WIFE, child is included.

Thanks for the reply.

The thing is, there are two different case numbers from NVC.

One for wife and one for step son.

Though stepson IS! listed on wifes I-130.

From my understanding, Two case numbers, Two IV Bills.

I would pay the wife's fees and send out the documents ASAP. There is no point in waiting for son's fees to get invoiced and delay the wife's process.

If i pay for the wife IV bill will both cases stay together? (As they have so far)

Two I-130 and Two differnt case numbers.

Dear fellow VJ members:

AOS Scan date Aug 29

IV Scan Date:9/23

Paid status changed to N/A. I called and the NVC Rep confirmed Case Complete at 12 pm. Later around 3pm I got an email saying Check list cover sheet below:

______10 - PASSPORT POLICE CERTIFICATE:____________________________

Indian Police Clearance Certificates should be obtained as follows:

• All Indian IV applicants aged 16 and above, residing in India, should obtain police

certificates from the local Passport Office.

• Indian passport holders applying for visas outside India should obtain a statement from their

local embassy or consulate confirming they have no criminal record.

• Non-Indian IV applicants residing in India should obtain police certificates from the District

Police Station serving their area of residence.

• Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) applicants applying

outside India

NOTE: I already submitted PCC from local passport office and from District Police Station.

So I called NVC and the Rep said my case is complete. The email was just a reminder to bring PCC during interview. But my email states Checklist and to review it will take 60 days. Has anyone had this experience. This is so frustrating. Please provide your feedback.

Dont worry its a false checklist.I also got the same..
