Yes, when you have a lawyer your AOS and IV fees are unlocked at the same time. It's different for those of us without an attorney.

Where did you see that CC? Facebook? Do you know if that was their AOS or IV scan date?

I don't see how it should be any different. And if I get a checklist I wont be so happy I got an attorney. And from what I have read on VJ attorneys have been making simple mistakes and messing up peoples lives. I can only pray for those that have to wait longer. I still don't think it fair that just because I hired someone to do the paperwork for me that I should get a pump ahead.

I believe that your fees are unlocked at the same time because you don't have to wait for DS-261 to be accepted like we do. Since you have an attorney, the attorney is your agent automatically and the DS-261 is waived. Best of luck! I am hoping that we all pas through NVC without a checklist. :)

the suspense is too much. let's see if i can get through now. the line has been busy for the last 15 min. fingers crossed.

it normally takes me at least 40 mins dialing and then another hour on hold to get through to them my scan date is the 15th so if you get yours soon then mine should be within the next week but yeah this anxiety is killing me. I check the stupid ceac site hoping for N/A's but instead just get PAID. Hope your phone call is a good one. :)

Question about IV fee bill:

I have taken care of the DS-261 both for wife and step son.

No problems paying the AOS fees (Online at NVC)

Then yesterday received email from NVC for IV fee bill for wife only.

I log into NVC For wife case and it shows paynow for a fee of 325$

But for step son it shows nothing.

Should i pay the wifes IV fee now or wait and see if step son get IV bill/

Thanks

Anyone?

Anyone?

I would pay the wife's fees and send out the documents ASAP. There is no point in waiting for son's fees to get invoiced and delay the wife's process.
