I am on the phone with NVC

Hoping n praying its a case complete.

Congrats!!! That made me wonder if with all this Iv packages and checklist getting review with scan dates in Sept in August scan dates... the process will actually speed up and Sept will move along quicker than August. crossing my fingers. I still got all Sept ahead of me for my checklist to get review :(

the ceac won't change at any point, Im on the same boat my aos and iv got review on 9/30 got a checklist for the aos and they didn't mention anything about the iv, I called them and a rep told me Iv was accepted only aos was wrong ( two questions ) :( my ceac still says n/a.. call them and ask for you civil doc

Thanks for your answer!

I don't know why I thought they would upload the stuff we have sent... In our case the packages were submitted in different dates but when we called them they told us they'd review them at the same time so I guess I'll give them a call and ask about the IV. I presume it has to be fine since they didn't send a checklist nor nothing but who knows.

One last question... Is there any way to know if your checklist package has been reviewed besides calling them? I mean, do they send you an email or something? Because we did got the email saying to allow them 60 days to review it but we'd like to know when they get to it (like everyone else I guess). And what about Case Complete? Do they tell you or you have to call them too? Too many questions AH!

You make a good point. If they are approving all of these August AOS along with the IV packages scanned in September and October, then next month should be faster since they will be looking at September scan dates for AOS only along with checklists for Sept. as well. I really hope this works out in our favor

yeah they didn't send me any notice about the Iv only way I knew was by calling and either way I will call them again to make sure everything is good.. just double checking cause I honestly don't trust the reps at nvc... in reference to your checklist when is your checklist scan date? usually the 60 day email give you the scan date and as far as I can tell they still closing August.. no word on Sept yet! My checklist scan date is 10/3.. oh and usually your case changes on the ceac site from paid to n/a on the aos part when the case is completed.. :)

hopefully!!!! cause it had taken a full month to get through August :(Nvc started working August scan dates on 9/25.. tomorrow be the actual month and they still at the end of August..

It's likely based on them reviewing your DS-260.

False checklists can be issued based on receiving the following:

-payments

-DS-261

-DS-260

-AOS package

-IV package

Just finished talking with Miguel 2 minutes ago. They got our IV package and everything is fine with its documents.

About checklist dates... He said (again) to allow them 60 days from the last package received but, and hope this is true, they are moving forward quickly...

That's crazy! I didn't know you could get checklist for DS-260! Thanks for the heads up Saylin :)

I probably should have specified, but *FALSE checklists, based on them receiving those things (and on reviewing the AOS and IV packages). I've never actually seen a real checklist for the DS-260.

I'm going to go edit my post to clarify

Ah, that is a good theory. I didn't know they issued them upon reviewing the DS-260. Thanks! I'm on hold with them right now to confirm.

Yeah, for the first three items I mentioned (payments, DS-261, DS-260), I've noticed that if the AOS and IV packages aren't received (when they get to those three items), then a false checklist is issued sometimes. Not in all cases, mind you. But I've seen it happen. So, I'm betting that's what happened in this case since according to your signature, you sent the DS-260 at the beginning of the month.
