If checklist get review faster. I am really hoping that they do. Really counting down for that scan date 10/21.

I don't think checklist get review faster, I seen people wait close to the 60 day to get review. I think the people getting AOS checklist review with scan date mid Sept and Oct is because Nvc is reviewing them with the Iv scan date in August... If you pay attention to all the cc with scan dates of Sept and Oct checklist they have Iv scan dates of August... I got a checklist for my AOS of 10/3 .. still waiting :(

That's what I was thinking because almost everyone is getting approved from the AOS date.

Thanks so much for sharing info. My scan date is 9.5.14

Do you know usually how long the embassy at Guatemala takes to give interview?

how was your experience during the interview with your wife?

what happen to me is I sent my AOS scan date 14th and iv scan 26th sep. but now they review both document together they review by first scan date so my 60 days over last week and on 59 day I saw that I made mistake on my AOS form I sent immediately so they can just review all together but I got little late and they reviewed my document next day and sent me a checklist . so now I have to wait 60 days my new scan date Is 21th oct :crying::crying:

I think my case was closed last year at the end of June and we received an August appointment. This time, we will probably receive a December appointment.

Everyone we encountered at the US Embassy in Guatemala was friendly. Make sure you take updated originals of birth certificates, marriage/divorce records, police certificates, passport-sized pictures and the affidavit of support and accompanying documents. Basically, have another copy of everything you submitted to NVC. For some reason, NVC did not include the affidavit of support so I had to complete another I-864 at the embassy. Luckily, that embassy allows the spouse to attend so they allowed me to complete another I-864 while we waited. They also asked for recent copies of all documents I mentioned above, so make sure all documents are issued within six months of your visa interview. I have a list of the questions they asked us somewhere; let me know if you want them and I'll send you a separate message.

oh no!! I'm sorry :( I know how you feel, I waited 54 days for my aos and iv to get review to finally get a checklist for aos... the wait was horrible and the not knowing if something was wrong even worse. My attorney send in the correct form and got a scan date of 10/3... I'm still freaking out about the income part which is so confusing and till I actually get a cc I won't be in peace... this process with nvc had been so horrible and nerve wrecking... Good luck! and praying for a fast cc to all of us.. :)
