Apartment Problems

So I need some help. My Apartment complex is asking me to put my spouse on the lease.

The problem is that Immigration took my spouse's passport at POE when she came to the US.

So she has the form stating when to come back after completion of documents...

The apartment gave me a form about her status, and will deny her if she does not meet the requirements. Which I told them about when she got here. They said it was fine, but it seems they had a change of heart.

Documents they are looking for is:

I-551 (green card) Don't have yet

I-485 (AoS) Didn't need to do

I-94 (Arrival-departure record)

Any tips on what I should do?

You can print your spouse I-94 online from this link. https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html why do they need to know her status since they are not immigration. I will think as long as you have a lease it shouldnt be a problem.

Why did immigration too your spouse's passport ? Stamp in it is equivalent to I-551.

They took her passport because of the medical being incomplete. So there is no stamp on the Visa itself.
