Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

She has all the paperwork so I'm not sure now. She just said in a year of arrival we had to adjust status or refile something.

She can petition to remove the conditions on her green card 90 days before the 2 year anniversary in order to receive a 10 year greencard.

However, if you get divorced she can file straight away, no need to wait for the 90 day window.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do now. Move on, try and put this behind you and keep smiling :)

I lost my job last year and got on government benefits though. I have no way of support.

Then the government probably won't come after you if she gets her own benefits from the government, most of which she's banned from getting until she has held her green card for 5 years. Also there have been some who have sued for support based on the I-864. How well that works depends on where you live.
