Hubby called nvc and said case is pending. What does it mean? Last week they said they're about to review our documents. Now they said its pending. Anyone know what does it mean?

I believe they haven't opened your packages yet. Besides from what I've seen in your timeline, you just sent them in on 10/2. Your scan date is 1-2 days from the day they received your documents and as of the moment they are reviewing packages with scan dates of sept 2-3. So just hang in there and wait for your time patiently sweetie?

I think it must be a Ghana thing cause we got 3 checklists too.

Yes Austin...I guess I can look forward to taking the prize for most AOS checklists :idea:

I begged to be allowed to take the corrected form in to the interview but I was told that wasn't possible. So I just responded to the checklist and put it behind me. Plus I travelled to be with my husband for about a month and this helped to ease the pain of waiting as well

I have never posted on this thread but I just spent the last 4 days reading every post. My heart goes out to all of you that are still waiting. This process is very unfair and will make us all go crazy if we let it :(

So now to tell my story, we applied on July 18th 2013 and were the very last ones on the july thread to get out noa2 on May 31st 2014. It only took 3 weeks to get our NVC case number and AOS invoice but because of a missing cosponser we had to wait. Our IV bill took another 6 weeks to be unlocked and thankfully we found a cosponser by then. After waiting for them to finally get the stuff together we were able to send off everything at once on the 23rd of this month. It all arrived at NVC on October 27th. So I just our wait has just begun yet again.

The worst part about all this is after reading all these post I just know we will get a check list and have to wait even longer, but on the bright side we won't have to file for change of conditions once my husband is here lol.

I'm sorry you had to wait so long for the co-sponsor, the pain of waiting is beyond the capability of words to explain. God willing NVC is going faster and you wont have to wait the full 60 days but it it saves you over $1000 dollars well better then waiting and then have to pay these losers more of our hard earned money. Yes Anuspras I just saw it! Excited but nervous at the same time. I m praying not to get another checklist. I m just scared of one thing. In my husband's trancrupt it says that he lives with his family but he had no dependent so I followed saylin's advice and asked to put household size of two, me and him. But I noticed a few days back somebody posted on that thread that Nvc told them to include everybody in household size whether or not dependent. So really scared about it. I can't deal with any other checklist. Hope they just give me a cc now!

I used to think the cut-off day for the second round of interviews was the 15th. :content:

Since I got my CC on Sept 16th, I thought I missed the second round of Oct interviews by 1 day. :no:

It turned out that the cut-off day was the 9th so I missed it by 7 days! :oops:

Andy called today. Spoke to supervisor. No change from what they told me although apparently now our scan date is 23rd Sept. I mean who knows anymore. I am just going to sit tight and wait. Doesn't really matter which one it is we probably won't get a December interview. Have resigned ourselves to a January interview and an Ozzie Christmas.

Good to see they are September 5th though.

2024/10/27 - called NVC to be advised last scanned document is now September 17th, an email I sent early August and they looked at on September 17th.

2014/9/17 - last scanned date. Waiting for a Case Complete.

2014/10/30 - CASE COMPLETE

2014/11/10 - Interview Scheduled

2014/12/23 - Interview - going to try to move up a week but we will see.

2014/12/2 - interview and APPROVED

2014/12/18 - Smooth and quick POE at LAX then onto JFK by domestic

Andy called today. Spoke to supervisor. No change from what they told me although apparently now our scan date is 23rd Sept. I mean who knows anymore. I am just going to sit tight and wait. Doesn't really matter which one it is we probably won't get a December interview. Have resigned ourselves to a January interview and an Ozzie Christmas.

Good to see they are September 5th though.

So sorry for all this bs u been thru, Ive been following your case since oh well the new york times, It was you right? Anyways my whole family knows about yoh and we are all praying you will get a cc soon. I cant believe they are doing this. Soon it will be in the past and will be enjoying the west coast.
