Well I saw some CCs with early September scan dates on the other forum. I hope my AOS fee turns to N/A soon. I'm too scared to call, i'll pass out if they tell me I have a checklist. My daughter is set on being home for Christmas... though i'm sure she'll be happy if we have to have 2 Christmas days.

Oh dear heart, I'm so very sorry I can't believe they give these people so much power over us there has to be a recourse to this madness it can't be they can do what ever they wish. Were are our rights, our right to pursue happiness? Something must be done about this, it can't continue the way it is.

Have you tried to make an appointment with immigration in your area and talk to them face to face? God willing this will make them see they are dealing with a living being. I'll be praying on my side that you get the justice you deserve.

It has to be the most difficult thing of all and I'm happy this is not my case. I don't think I could do it! Don't worry about the interview date I have seen everyone stressing over it and they get it in due time.

Hi everyone, this is the first time I've ventured into these monthly threads but they seem great. My husband and I started our journey with all of the visa process back in May when we submitted the I-130. We were surprised when we were approved earlier than 5 months (about 4) and then the speed of it all seemed to go quickly. Now, all is at NVC and we wait. I felt discouraged when their email notifications said it could take at least 60 days :/ I don't think anyone in the world other than individuals on these threads understand how difficult it is to be far away from your loved ones and plan everything so "administratively." There's nothing loving about the visa process, and in fact at times, it is actually quite insulting. Anyway, I appreciate VJ and the help I've received. Thanks everyone.

First to the thread! Boy how we know how you feel and it's not pretty, 4 months wow lucky you some of us have been waiting a year and a half and some more. But the pain that is felt is the same and this process just isn't fair at all in every single way. As I have said before they just have to much power over us and this just can't be in a democratic society. There has to be checks and balances and there are NOT. Much luck and we are here for you when you need us.

First week of last May was a year, but it feels like a million years.

I was told by Don our AOS's forms were accepted, Aug 10, then on Sept 24 Th I Amanda told me CC this I think was on a Friday I called Monday Sept 27Th to confirm I had a funny feeling and Reese said no they haven't even looked at your files yet. After three supervisors that didn't nothing I was told I needed to send my parents marriage certificate and told I didn't have to have it translated, this is my fault because i believed them. Sooooooooo I sent in a copy and then thanks to Austin I sent in the Translation so $81 dollars later they received the last of the paper work Oct 22 Now I have to wait again. That's about it, I did the bestest I could to make it short.

I'm more than thrilled your well on your way.

God I hate that we have a ten hour difference and it's not fun. Oh well, if she's sleeping I'm sure it's from relief and he has or will have his Visa

Cannot sleep more than 4 to 5 hours at max *sigh* btw robisons and hope88 I m also moving to Chicago (hopefully) and I m pretty scared from the weather there although I m excited to see snowfall and all for the first time in my life but I think I m going to freeze to death

Hello, you always have to call several times, hate to say it but the reps lie, I mean blatantly lie so have your husband call three or four times if he can, once in the morning then after 4 Eastern time should do it. Pending usually means they haven't checked your packages sent yet. Good luck to you and please let us know your progress.
