I called and spoke to Olivia and got an official CC, also with a scan date of either August 29 or Sept 2 (have heard both) and also with a case complete on Saturday Oct 25. I do not think they work Saturdays, but I do think the system updates whenever it updates and that's the date that it's "complete."

So I still don't understand the scheduling interview part. Doesn't it depend on the embassy? So does NVC only call them to schedule at those times? I read the first page of the interview thread, I just think it's crazy. I guess I'm not surprised though, since this is the NVC.

msc13, Samreen and dear sweet Soloenta, all of my thoughts and positive energy are going towards you guys to be done with this BS as soon as possible.

Yours was one of the first names I looked for :(NVC is unbelievable. No one from 2013 should be waiting anymore, let alone from so early in the year. This system is a disgrace :protest:

Yes it's disgusting. The bright part is I have been thru the worst so hopefully in max two weeks they HAVE to give me an answer and not their 60 day BS. Just really really praying for dec interview at this point.

So do you mean that if I don't get the CC by the 30th then I won't get a December interview?

There should be a second round of interviews in early Nov.

However, someone said there was no second round for Dec interviews since many embassies/consulates close for the holidays. We'll have to wait and see. -_-

I hope there is a second round of Dec interview scheduling in early Nov. :star: Fingers crossed!

Our expedite request got denied. Even though they approved the exact same evidence at USCIS stage...at this point I HATE them all from the bottom of my heart, sincerely! The US embassy in Bosnia and the NVC especially! May they all rot in hell! ....Would anyone know what dates the NVC is currently working on? Thank you

OMG I'm so very sorry about this, USCIS and NVC/Embassy give expedites differently and just because USCIS accepts it unfortunately means nothing. One would think it would be uniform and make sense but nothing with this process makes sense.

Don't know if anyone has answered you but I believe last scanned date was August 29 and some Sept dates, please someone correct me if I'm wrong.t5063.gif

Hey gang! Work has been nasty for me the past couple of weeks but it finally let up long enough for me to check in here. Looks like NVC is still an absolute pit, I was hoping to see more veterans around here with CCs and interview dates :( I'm keeping you all in my thoughts.

Woooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooo Bos_LHR WOW so great to have you with us but sorry you had to go threw that madness when will it ever end!

Hoping and praying MSC and Samreen will get their CC's this week and thank you so much for keeping us in your thoughts and letting us know about the problem that will ugg affect us when and if the time comes.

Always a joy seeing you my friend. :Dt5063.gif

Yes, I'm pretty sure they don't work Saturdays but I just got my 60-day wait letter dated Saturday 25 so that's definitely possible.

I can guarantee they don't work on weekends! :( (L)

God bless you TargetNovember4, your so very kind, this helps me feel so much better.

I did call National Visa Center, Phillip Slattery, Director, 603-334-0927 early in the morning and briefly left a message with my name and phone number. At about 11:35 am I received a call and it was NVC, Supervisor Marcus was on the line with questions about my case and if I had any questions. Boy did I, I asked him who gave him my case because no one was helping me out and he said didn't you call this morning I said yes I called NVC Directory Slattery and expected him to call me. He said he was given my case so bottom line they can't go in to look for my packages blah, blah, blah, very nice guy but I sort of let him have it when he said 60 days. I said, are you aware what I've been through , can you possibly understand the trauma NVC and the whole immigration system has put my husband and I through! I proceeded to tell him everything from USCIS on and he said yes I see it in your file and I'm very sorry. He went over what I needed to send one by one and I let him know those are the packages I sent and I asked why the need for the marriage certificate from my parents and same old BS they needed to be verified as far as I'm concerned just one more hoop to jump over SOB's.

So I asked him, really 60 days do you know what that means to me? He said they were getting better and are at about 52 days and I said doesn't make me feel a whole lot better and he laughs and said I understand but better than 60/65 were they were. So Samreen, MSC and every one close call today please it just might be your day. :D I'm praying on my side it's your turn to see some peace of mind and to lighten your hearts. :)t4582.gif

I contacted the embassy here in Amman and my papers haven't been sent yet . How long does it usually take them? I'm doing EP .

I'm sorry not sure Hope, when is the date for your interview? Seems they take their time but check with Dewheels thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/516586-november-2014-interviews/page-116 They know what's going in, would be good to post there if you don't get anything here :)t4582.gif

You are waiting for CR1/IR1 ?? ... Why they requested parents marriage certificate ?

Waiting for Case Complete/CC for IR-1 but can be for either one. My father is the Sponsor and my mother is the Co-Sponsor so since they are household member's obviously living in the same home they need to prove they are married, why I have no Idea I think it's just a way to make this process that much more difficult, why should it matter as long as they are sponsor or cosponsor. Just more BS. :(t4582.gif

:) Awww thank you so much my dear friend for thinking of us now celebrate in our name. :Dt5063.gif

I can guarantee they don't work on weekends! :( (L)

It would make me happy!

:)t4582.gif

:wow: they actually call back! Soloenta, Did you ask if an expedite could be granted in your case?

I'm sorry not sure Hope, when is the date for your interview? Seems they take their time but check with Dewheels thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/516586-november-2014-interviews/page-116 They know what's going in, would be good to post there if you don't get anything here :)t4582.gif

:(t4582.gif

Thank you dear
