I deactivated my Facebook for the same reason! I didn't wanna bad eye anyone or to envy them. You aren't getting crazy. It's very normal to feel this way. Well we can always pray for a miracle right? Here's to wishing that you get to spend xmas with him God willing!

Hang in there, soon the whole immigration journey will soon be over and you will be your wife soon. I miss my hubby more every seconds.

Just hold on for a tad bit longer. Also, think of the great memories you've built so far and think ahead of creating some more in the future.

Just one of those nights, thinking about the upcoming holidays, thanksgiving, Christmas, new years, her birthday in two weeks. Fourth year we will be apart for them. I was so sure that last year was it, so it gets a bit saddening at this time.

Just needed a place to post this. This process sucks. My three kids are separated from their dad while we wait. My OH was visiting last week and I saw such a huge improvement in one of the kids. My eldest has really been struggling without her dad, we are in a new country, at a new school, trying to make new friends and this process seems to be taking its toll on her. I just can't understand how we can be married for 10 years and this process still takes us nearly a year (and counting). I just want this to be over, if not for me, for my kids.

Yea my husband and I discuss this every single day. It's like being married and not married at the same time. I also hate it when people make jokes with me. They'll mention how I'm married and then go, oh wait your husband isn't here so it doesn't really count. And I'm like

No girl you did the right thing and you can't help how you feel. How can you tell your heart what to do or feel. Your not crazy at all, I wish I could do something.

Is it possible for your husband to come to you, I'm praying since it's from the USA to Mexico that it will be easy. God willing, he will surprise you.

Awww sweety, if anyone has the right to be like this, it's you! You've been through a lot yet you're the sweetest one here. It doesn't matter how horrible of a day you've had in the past, you still came by and helped many others. Your positivity is what's keeping me intact to this forum.

Well my AOS changed to "n/a" which is of course good news, but I'm having some very mixed emotions today. A tragic school shooting happened very near the hospital I work at as a Critical Care nurse. Please pray for the families of all of the victims, for the nurses and doctors, and for the community here. My heart is heavy even with this great news. I will of course update you guys after I call on Monday.

Congrats! I heard about the shooting incident near Seattle.

This worries me a lot since we're moving to Seattle (once I get the visa).

My Canadian friends tell me not to go to the mall or movie theater in the US if I don't want to get shot.

Same reason I try not to go to the interview thread, sometime I just can't be happy for anyone as horrible as that may sound.

Happens to us all and that is what we are here for. So you come here when ever you want and post what ever you want to post. We need a place were we can speak what is in our hearts since only we understand how each other feels and the pain we have to bare for now. I'm so very sorry, it seems they don't care what we go through it's just a job to them. Their lack of compassion and empathy is deafening, I'm sorry to say it will never change.

Do you Skype? If not you need to even if's only on Friday and Saturday since your children are in school. I wish they could see the damage they are causing.

Have you thought of taking your children to a psychologist and have them talk and tell them how it's affecting them? You can then have this person write a letter so you can send it to NVC via e-mail requesting an expedite. It's not life or death but I have seen this get people an expedite and you'll just be telling the truth.

I'm actually thrilled for everyone specially you my friend but seeing many breeze by with no problems is frankly difficult to swallow. I start to feel a sinking feeling in my stomach like when I would take a test and slowly people started finishing and leaving the class room, not sure that ever happened to you. Just not a good feeling and I don't need this right now. I am beyond happy when one of us get's CC and interview, it makes me enormously happy.

Hi Soloenta sweetie, how are you doing.

I agree with Skype. We have Skyped everyday for the past year. On weekends it can be for a couple of hours whilst some weekdays it might only be for five minutes. I always make sure the children speak to him and I must say it has made the separation definitely more manageable. To boot, it is free!

I think of you often. You are such an Inspiration to so many on VJ. I know that that is no consolation and doesn't make the journey any easier for you but know that we are all here for you.

We are human and i guess we have no control over our feelings.

I pray you get thru this process soonest. No matter how long this immigration process may look or take, one thing am so sure about is that NVC can't hold you forever. You are definitely going to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'll be saying a special prayer for you today in church.
