Hiya!!

Question about the DS-260. My partner including myself have lived all over the world and allot has been done while backpacking from place to place, for six months to 2 years at a time during our 13 year partnership. Now I am trying to fill out this form with the most complete honest answers, as totally crazy hard as that is, and when I leave a gap longer one month they wont save the application which means they probably will not accept it, right? So...............they also say they don't want any transit vacation motel addresses, well....then....what in the world am I to do??? i have just spent an hours worth and it will all be lost which is one thing but not to be able to fill it out is much worse. (((!!!HELP!!!!))) :crying:

Ok when your filling out the DS-260 you can save it as you go, so you can fill out one page then save it I believe it's on the upper right hand side. You can go right back to it or return the next day. So that way you wont lose anything as you go, it shouldn't matter if you have gap or not it will save what you have typed in.

I hope someone will come in that can help you better but you might have to wait a couple of hours. I do strongly suggest you call NVC and ask to speak to a supervisor, I don't trust the reps there they are a bunch of lairs and will say what ever comes into their heads. If I can find anything of value I'm post it here for you. You might also want to ask this question of Saylin specifically on the thread might get a faster answer. I wish you much luck and congratulations for reaching this point. :)t4582.gif Holy cow, you were approved in 23 day WOW amazing!!

It breaks my heart to see you are still waiting for a case complete. I hope this week is your week!

I am sure the embassy in Australia will be able to adjust your interview date once NVC ships your file to them.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

The best thing would be to call and talk to NVS *supervisor* (not reps) 2-3 times and see if they give you the same answer. That is what I did whenever I had a question; as Soloenta says, reps and even supervisors can give incorrect answers for whatever reason.

My sense is that you can list the address where you indicated you were receiving mail / filing taxes from etc. That is your official residential address.

My heart goes out to everyone waiting on CC ....it is so much harder emotionally this time of year. Speaking for myself...I too am having a hard time being in limbo at NVC and feeling helpless. I was expecting to be done and back in the states before now....but the reality is that most likely we will be stuck here in the Netherlands for months yet.Every time I hear a child outside playing I have to choke back tears or I break down because I need and want so badly to be with my grandkids and my family for the holidays.I cant even begin to muster the emotional energy to decorate here for the holidays and that sucks. I don't want to have a pitty party but I am so tired of all this and of disappointing my US family especially the grandkids. My mother is really ill and wont be around much longer...and my expedite request was denied...there is no humanity in the Immigration system. To everyone waiting and feeling so hopeless...hugs of support. I wont tell you to keep the faith, cheer up and dont worry because your turn is soon to come. Those words sound so hollow to myself right now I am a glass half full type of person and I have great faith in God. I guess Gods timing isn't my timing and that I just have to wait for that door to open.

Well my AOS changed to "n/a" which is of course good news, but I'm having some very mixed emotions today. A tragic school shooting happened very near the hospital I work at as a Critical Care nurse. Please pray for the families of all of the victims, for the nurses and doctors, and for the community here. My heart is heavy even with this great news. I will of course update you guys after I call on Monday.

Firstly, this is excellent news. Congratulations!! :-)

The school shooting on the other hand sounds tragic and it breaks my heart to hear that this has happened again. Everybody will be in my thoughts. I suppose when horrible things like this happen it makes immigration matters seem so small. Distance is a small problem as long as those we love are happy and healthy. Tonight, I will stop feeling stressed and sad about visa issues and be thankful for my wonderfully healthy daughter and husband.

Hi everybody

First of all big Congratulations to those CC. What wonderful news.

I have some news to deliver to you all - not about me though!

Last night I received an email from our dear friend mobar65. He has very limited internet access and has asked me to post on VJ. He will give us all an indepth update as soon as he can.

He and his family had an easy POE on Wednesday in Colorado. Two of the children have already started in their new school and the other two start on Monday. Apparently they love their new school which is good to hear. I am sure that Mum and Dad are very busy just getting everything unpacked and settling into their home.

We have missed him this week but I think I can say on behalf of all his VJ friends we send only love and good wishes to the family and look forward to hearing more about the experience.

Soloenta - mobar65 cannot find your email address at present and wanted me to say hello to you.

Sounds like he is missing us all!!
