Yes i do have a lawyer. things change a LOT when the lawyer calls the NVC instead of you.

This is a comprehensive and I believe completely accurate name title and phone directory for everyone at State in the NVC chain of command. I called the NVC Director's number and got his voice mail.

Nov 11 (Veterans Day) is a national holiday so nobody will be at the NVC office.

Unfortunately, there are 3 national holidays in Nov. Nov 11 (Veterans Day), Nov 27 (Thanksgiving Day), and 28 (Black Friday).

NVC will be working only 17 days instead of 20 days in Nov. http://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/us/

Oh my god. I could just fall to the ground and die right now.
I've been hoping for a christmas reunion with my wife, but today the nvc crushed that dream by sending me a checklist for my AOS papers.
We didn't fill out anything wrong, we just didnt check a couple boxes. And now I'm pissed. Such a 'little' mistake will keep me away from my wife another 2 months.

I hate this.

Oh man NVC keeps having days off and they never get anything done even when they're working the entire month. Adding on holidays is just giving them more of a reason to not work

I'm very sorry to hear that. Yes, NVC is notorious for doing this. They made me wait 60+ days to review my AOS checklist for a stupid n/a I forgot to write.

and yes i have seen what you Samreen and Msc are going through. Its absolutely ridiculous.

GOd knows you are a good person even though you weren't going for mass every sunday. You shall all get it very soon. I will keep praying for you all. i can see the church from my office window and even s i type this i am praying for you all to get a case complete from NVC.

My heart goes out to you, I filled it out completely they lied saying I didn't do this and that but I have the hard copy to prove it. Then they said I had to produce my parents (sponsor and co-sponsor's ) marriage certificate which the Supervisor told me to send as is with no translation. Thanks to Austin had it translated to save us an extra 60 days.

They are heartless monsters, the rest are expletives so can't post them here, wish I could.

Seems that I won't get a cc before the weekends??? I'm tired of stalking CEAC every minute hoping it changed coz I'm expecting my cc within the week. Aug 27th scan date and nothing as of the moment. Hope if not tomorrow then God willing on Monday please.
