Am praying you get good news on or before Friday. Fingers crossed for you. Soon all this nightmare will soon be over and you can and the kids can be home soonest.

They r still stuck on august I can't believe it

Am praying you get the magic CC and get done with NVC ASAP.

Now they are telling my 60 days to review my DS260 (upon which hinges my 'expedited' case being sent to MTL)!

Just returned from 3 days spent with my kids (haven't seen them since Sep 1st and I am not allowed to cross the border to visit). Maybe I should take up video gaming to wile away the days....

It could take up to 60 calender days for NVC to review the DS-260, but it usually takes less since they can review it when they review the IV package.

But... Your case has been expedited so I'd assume the Montreal Consulate can review it at the interview?

You're not allowed to cross the border!? :wow: Why? :huh2:

As a Canadian, you can cross the border to "visit" (not move) the US as long as you have a Canadian passport.

Of course, it's better to stay away from the border if you're as "conservative" as I am when it comes to immigration. :star:

I haven't crossed the border since I have sent my I-130 application even though I live only 40 minutes from the US-Canada border. :content:

InshAllah they will, plus side is that since they've started reviewing packages together; your second one would be reviewed with the first scanned date!

Oh yea! Wishing him a safe journey!

Praying that you get your CC today! :star:

Oh God I hope not, they reviewed my documents they said all was well there, so far 3 reps and two supervisors told me this. If they review it again they might decide different. It's pathetic but I was a little excited this morning NVC sent an e-mail saying they received the I pray last package with my parents translation for their marriage certificate. Will have to call for scan date, it said they received it on the 21st Oct and that is the same day I sent it :o holy cow someone is actually doing their work. Wonder if they're getting any faster?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS CC for our dear sweet MSC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They r still stuck on august I can't believe it

What is wrong with them, they need to work exclusively with the old files not the newer ones it's just not fair sorry don't care what anyone says they need to Fing wait their turn. :(:ranting: :ranting:

It seems like it's taking exactly 60 calender days according to Facebook.

NVC is now reviewing two packages together so it's taking more time for people who sent a checklist document alone, unfortunately.

Great we got CRAPED on once again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! t23126.gif

Now they are telling my 60 days to review my DS260 (upon which hinges my 'expedited' case being sent to MTL)!

Can they come visit you, are they close to the boarder? This whole situation is so pathetic, I can't believe this is happening.

Austin dear, did you know about a Sponsor and Co-Sponsor having to show relationship? I can't believe I could have missed that one. :( (L) TY.

I cannot, sadly. We sold the house to buy on Bainbridge. My kids are attending school there now, and I have no job and am staying at my brother's place in Toronto. There is nothing tying me to Canada, so I would be some kind of gypsy-fugitive I guess. :)

I guess NVC can't look for particular mail or form in the system (except for email with a case number for EP).

So they make you wait for your turn even though you got an expedite.

Depending on when you got an expedite at the NVC stage, it may not make much difference in terms of the speed for some cases.
