Don't beat yourself up about it. Many of us (including me) have made the same mistake. It is a tricky question that I feel needs to be reviewed in how it is worded. Even some people who have hired lawyers have gotten checklisted for the same thing.

Best thing is dust yourself off, send the correction and work on a hobby while you wait for a CC. I trained for and ran my first 5k after my checklist. Do something positive for yourself to pass the time and it will be over before you know it.

Our co-sponsor also made that mistake. It's very common unfortunately.

Thank you everyone!

I had called in the morning and was told the usual "60days #######" and checked it every half our throughout the day, when I did see the N/A I stopped breathing for a few seconds. I just couldn't believe it! Thought I was going crazy haha, I called and the rep IVY confirmed the CC for me! We booked my medical today and the earliest I could get was November 12th, So I hope my interview is shortly after.

@Solenta. I really hope you get your CC soon. I cannot believe yoy are still waiting. So ridiculous! :( Thinking of you all!! (L)

I'm so very thrilled and happy for you and your loved one. I fills my heart with pure joy and hope. (L)

Thank you so much, I"m sure it will be 60 days or more for us, I don't want to hope for something that will most likely feel like a very long time. I did send the translations off so I'm happy about that, they arrived at NVC today. :D (L)

Wow... So today our case was checklisted... :dead:

On our I-864a it had down adjusted income instead of Total Income from line 22 from 1040 tax return.

I tell you what folks, one mistake can cost you time!! Lesson learned... Unfortunately on the visajourney guide it mentions the very thing I was checklisted for.

Remember the Line 22 from 1040, don't make the same mistake we did!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry about the checklist but don't feel bad it happens to everyone and I think that is one of the questions most people mess up. God willing they will speed up soon so we can get out of here. (L)

Well it is official: I've got a Case Complete!!! :dancing: :star: :content: :D

I must confess that I spoke with Mari this morning and I cried like a little you-know-what! Originally the crying was not due to a Case Complete, but that the Supervisory Review concluded that my Marriage Certificate was a photocopy. Mari also stated that there were multiple copies of each civil document. (I only sent one copy of each document, so you all know what that means  ) That is when I lost it; I broke down! I was a hot, sobbing mess! lol! That is when Mari took look a my file, made some phone calls, and gave me a Case Complete! :wow: She did state that my husband would need to bring an original marriage certificate with him to the interview. I will not make a big deal out of it since I received a CASE COMPLETE!!!

So very happy for you but please call again tomorrow to confirm. :)(L)

Congrats! Medical exam? :wow:

You may want to read the Interview thread for more info about the medical exam.

There were very "interesting" postings about the medical exam in the last 2 days. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/516586-november-2014-interviews/

I feel the same way Samreen, I want to be happy for them but just can't. I know it's horrible of me, I'm happy for those that are lucky like this but at the same time are respectful of hose like us who have been left to suffer this endless h e l l. All I and we can do is continue to pray. t0803.gif (L) (L)

Awwwwwwwwwwww how sweet and amazing at the same time, how smart she is and what empathy. I think instead of a bad thing it can be taken in a positive way. She has learned lessons and learned to appreciate her parents while adults still have to learn the hard way. :) (L) (L) This one is for your little one. :)t4582.gif

Yes soloenta. I have no patience left in me. Neither can I be happy for anyone now. I want my cc becasue I know I deserve it more than a lot here and so do u. My marriage is going down the drain really. And all because of this f**** up process. We have gone through this millions of times before that we r stuck waiting and people come and go by. It's ironic that AOS never changed to "N/A" after spending so much time checking the CEAC site 100 times a day!:rofl::rofl:

Now you can relax! You can stop watching your wedding video since you've watched it 100,000 times.:rofl::rofl:

I know you guys, samreen and soloenta, feel very frustrated and think the end is never near but trust me it'll change one day. We're all destined in life to be somewhere and we all get there with patience. Samreen you mentioned that your marriage is getting effected by this process then trust me when I say this, a case complete doesn't help actually. :(NVC might end the wait but then a new concern of getting through the interview and settling with a new life begins. These worries never end basically.

I seriously pray for everyone and wish no one has to go through this. Even when someone mentions something about getting married in another country, I'm always like don't do it. Or prepare yourself for the worst if you want to. This whole process is terrible and it not only breaks a relationship, it breaks down the individual completely too. May God help us all.
