No worries, sweetie! You'll get a CC soon! Fingers crossed! :star:

Haha! Guess what? The AOS bill never changed lol and all the OCD of checking it now seems much more absurd !

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

It's ironic that AOS never changed to "N/A" after spending so much time checking the CEAC site 100 times a day!:rofl::rofl:

Now you can relax! You can stop watching your wedding video since you've watched it 100,000 times.:rofl::rofl:

This really is #######. We r stuck here since April and people who entered nvc in July aug they got their case number in a week and sent both packages together and already have their cc. It's Uscis all over again. This immigration system disgusts me really. We have been the unluckiest people in this ever like me, soloenta, msc etc.

I sent my case Feb 2013, NOA 2 was Nov 2013 and sent to NVC. So my case has been at NVC for about a year. 2 checklists so far, (sent everything they needed on first checklist, they magically found something needed and sent another checklist, asked why it wasn't included on first checklist and they said person must have missed putting on the checklist).

So now I am August 27th scan date and guess what happens? NVC magically decides to start reviewing Sept (and Oct) cases who happened to send their AOS or IV in August. This will only cause more delays and it doesn't make any sense given how slow NVC already is.

Have seen few August 25-29 CC's and I wouldnt be surprised if we end up going over the 60 day mark because of this decision to start reviewing later documents recieved based on intial scan date

Feb, 2013!!?? :wow: Sorry to hear that. :crying: That's the longest timeline I've ever seen!

I know some people receive a second checklist for things that were not mentioned in their first checklist. :dead:

It's highly unlikely you'll get another checklist because NVC usually gives up to two checklists.

Fingers crossed for a CC this or next week! :star:

I will be lucky if I did get a November interview but I had an obstacle every step of the way so I don't want to get my hopes up. I will just wait

I just fount this on US embassy in Jordan. It's a new requirement. I do not wany to scare you but I want you to be prepared.

Check bellow

http://jordan.usembassy.gov/mobile/iv_documents_required.html

Stats on November 1, I called NVC last night about it. They said they heard nothing about it.

I feel the same way Samreen, I want to be happy for them but just can't. I know it's horrible of me, I'm happy for those that are lucky like this but at the same time are respectful of hose like us who have been left to suffer this endless h e l l. All I and we can do is continue to pray. t0803.gif (L) (L)

So I left my phone for a moment today and I came back to see that my 5 year old had text her father (who has been back living in the US since Sep 30), it said:

"Daddy. I am sorry you have to handle this :(".

I am so sad that my 5 year old is being made to understand grown up emotions because her governments will not let her parents just be together. It's heartbreaking. At the same time, I am so proud of how thoughtful she is and understanding.

Awwwwwwwwwwww how sweet and amazing at the same time, how smart she is and what empathy. I think instead of a bad thing it can be taken in a positive way. She has learned lessons and learned to appreciate her parents while adults still have to learn the hard way. :) (L) (L) This one is for your little one. :)t4582.gif

Same here, sent our case Feb 2013 my PD showed for March, then after a bit and for no good reason they changed the PD to June 24 2013.

My story is so long I'm tired even thinking about re-typing it. :( Sorry this happened to you but your not alone, we might be a club of a few but we at least understand

each others enormous frustration. :( (L)(L)

Wow... So today our case was checklisted... :dead:

On our I-864a it had down adjusted income instead of Total Income from line 22 from 1040 tax return.

I tell you what folks, one mistake can cost you time!! Lesson learned... Unfortunately on the visajourney guide it mentions the very thing I was checklisted for.

Remember the Line 22 from 1040, don't make the same mistake we did!!!!!!!!!!

Don't beat yourself up about it. Many of us (including me) have made the same mistake. It is a tricky question that I feel needs to be reviewed in how it is worded. Even some people who have hired lawyers have gotten checklisted for the same thing.

Best thing is dust yourself off, send the correction and work on a hobby while you wait for a CC. I trained for and ran my first 5k after my checklist. Do something positive for yourself to pass the time and it will be over before you know it.

Well it is official: I've got a Case Complete!!! :dancing: :star: :content: :D

I must confess that I spoke with Mari this morning and I cried like a little you-know-what! Originally the crying was not due to a Case Complete, but that the Supervisory Review concluded that my Marriage Certificate was a photocopy. Mari also stated that there were multiple copies of each civil document. (I only sent one copy of each document, so you all know what that means  ) That is when I lost it; I broke down! I was a hot, sobbing mess! lol! That is when Mari took look a my file, made some phone calls, and gave me a Case Complete! :wow: She did state that my husband would need to bring an original marriage certificate with him to the interview. I will not make a big deal out of it since I received a CASE COMPLETE!!!

Thank you, helps a lot.. :)

@ Congrats to THETIMEISNOW ! ... I hope to be there soon too!
