I called tonight after I got off work at 7:15 pm PST and was on hold for 45 minutes when the friggin' thing dropped my call!!! Then it was 8 pm and I had to wait again for another 45 minutes and I was so sure that I was going to get dropped because it was by then so close to midnight. All that happened though was that I waited almost 2 hours only to hear no news about my case. Naturally ;)

Soloenta... I still can't believe this BS they are pulling on you. Why the F do you have to prove this relationship with your friggin' parents??? This feels so hateful. I'm glad you've still been in touch with a Supervisor and agree with Mobar that I hope they drop this 60 day BS for you. You have been through too much!! Thinking of you tonight!!!

:D I'm honored and every time I see that weird cat face I just have to laugh. Hahaha what a face! (L) (L)

By the way the SOB's did scan my package today. My parents marriage certificate is very old and it's not translated it's in Castellano/Spanish so I hope the fools accept it since they have a ton of people there that speak the language.

Soon sweet heart soon, you will have your CC. :D If they are on Sept 1 and my package was scanned in their system today I'm wondering if that will make a difference in how long it will take them to review my stuff? Wondering if sending DR makes it less than 60 days also, I kind of remember someone posting that DR are reviewed quicker but just might be dreaming. :((L) (L)

I'm with you sister, I feel the exact same way. REALLY PISSES ME OFF! :D:pop: (L) (L)

Why not, you will be on the other side of the USA but that's why we have e-mails. ;) Silvia the supervisor told your husband it would take a week to check your files or get your files and that you would have CC in a week? If so I pray she is right. :) No worries here I'll keep praying.

Anyone want me to pray for them please send me a message with your real name hahaha I feel odd praying for ID's hahaa   But will say a prayer in general also. :D(L) (L)

If you can get it translated cause we got a checklist for not sending the both the (Arabic and English) in my case.

Best of luck to you can't wait till I hear you are done with this madness

Austin, I called your right so I just paid $100 for three pages to be translated and they are certified to do immigration etc and will have it in 24 hours so they say.

Thank you Austin my dear friend, if not for you it would have cost me so much time. I sit here crying in gratitude for your thoughtful kindness.

Yes Betsy said to just send it the way it was, so much for Betsy. :( No worries it will only cost me two to four days not 60 like it would have if not for you. t4582.gif

Thank god!

I received a checklist requesting an original marriage certificate, and of course, I already sent with my civil documents. I requested to speak with a supervisor and got Ike (what a jerk). I told him that I to speak with another supervisor because I refused to deal with his sarcasm and lack of compassion. I was transferred to Avery. She stated that she would look into my case. I also told her that I should not have to wait another 30 days because of NVC's mistake. This is unreal!!! :ranting::protest::cry::crying:

Really supervisor Ike didn't help you? I had the same issue, they said my marriage certificate was a copy and then I spoke with Ike. Although he sounds like a robot and insisted they had a copy and not the original, I was adamant that I had sent in an original PLUS a copy! The signatures on my original certificate were in blue with a blue seal so I told him how could it be a copy. After 3 mins of discussion he said he would look into it and that he would call me back; which he never did. But I called back a day later and it was all fixed.

He sounds like a jerk but he really isn't. He helped me right away. I really hope and pray they accept your certificate.

I m so sorry to hear this :( when was ur IV scanned? Nvc is indeed BS.

Thank you...my IV was scanned on 8/8/2014, but I realized that I sent a copy of my hubby's birth certificate and was scanned on 9/2/14. Is there a difference between received and scanned? I get the same dates whenever I use them interchangeably when speaking with a rep.

Ike was very difficult and continued to cut me off and provide me with those stupid, generalized responses! Nevertheless, Avery seemed to be more understanding and told me to give her three to five business days to receive my case and take a look at my marriage certificate.
