I was looking at the interview spreadsheet for 2013 and it's so unlucky that of all 12 months of the year I could have the case complete, I m expecting in end oct or early nov and there is no second round of interview scheduling in dec. so if the case complete is not by 30th max I might not get a dec date. I m so scared I don't want another delay at the interview now please God

Awww don't be upset, be hopeful! InshAllah you'll be out of this mess way before! Plus there really is no point in stressing out with the NVC. They do things when they feel the need to

I've just come to this conclusion and now I'm just waiting until God decides it's my time; which is very soon inshAllah

U r right. Our lives is in their hands and there is no good in thinking and stressing in advance. It's gonna happen when it's supposed to be.

Hi everyone...feels so wrong that I am at work and NVC is not! LOL.....anyway i have a question regarding the interview process.

Lets say my 60 days are up around mid-December (maybe the 20th). Since there is no second round of interviews in December, could i still make it in for January interviews or it would be until February? Do they have interviews everyday or just specific times of the month? Sorry, this is the one area i cannot understand clearly.

Just got this email from the embassy, after being on AP since my September 24th interview... Why are they being so enigmatic?

"You may drop the passports at the reception – window 2 - of the US Embassy. There is no need to come inside the Embassy compound.

You may come on any work day, Sunday through Thursday, between 1-3 p.m.

You must bring a copy of this e-mail with you to the reception (window 2), who will give you a sticker to collect your passport later from the Embassy.

Your case will be reviewed again and if everything is fine, you will be contacted to collect the passports with the visa packages in 4 weeks approximately."

I've seen this before and it's meant you get your Visa but wont celebrate until you comeback to tell us so. I said a prayer at Mass this sunday for everyone but said a special one for you and your family. God willing this is freedom from this h e l l for you and your family.

Same here! Everything is open, but the federal government

Ummm I'm not too sure how it'll workout, but for now they are scheduling the first round for the following month. If they were to schedule you at the end of December, it'll be for February I would think. To get an interview in January, you'd probably need to have the case complete by nov 30th.

It sounds like you'll get the visa in 4 weeks so it's good news, Mo!

I'm not sure why you don't sound happy? Well, you were the only person who got upset (instead of being happy) when you got a CC (because you felt that NVC took too long to give you a CC) so you're a little bit "unique" to me.

I have my interview in 4 weeks so it looks like we may get the visa around the same time! Fingers crossed!

MoBar just knows how they treat people from the Middle East no matter how great, intelligent and forthright they are. He's been put on AP for no reason what so ever so many times he just can't trust them as I can't trust them. When I hahaa supposedly got my CC I wasn't happy either I just had an odd feeling. MoBar on the other hand has so much more experience in this than almost any one of us that he knows better than to be optimistic.

I'm not sure... but I'm hoping the extra review/4 weeks lines are just generic to such emails. If so, I might receive the same royal treatment my brother got for his B1/B2 visa a few weeks ago. He submitted his passport with updated documents and received his visa the following day.

Last week, CCs breached the Aug. 20th barrier, so I'm hopeful you'll ride an early wave and get some good news before the week is out. Now... if we could only squeeze Soloenta in between.

Thank you my dear friend but the documents they requested will arrive Tuesday so, who really knows when it will be our turn. Might I add while I was praying at mass I almost lost it many times, my biggest fear if strangers seeing me cry. I was barely able to contain myself. My nerves are shot, I can't even smile anymore. But I hope that someday this will end.

That totally makes sense now. Thank you! It helps to have an "idea" of when we will need to put out plenty of money for the airfare, medical, hotel, etc. I'm really hoping that my meticulous nature helps me avoid a checklist and i can have my husband crossing into the U.S. in February at the latest.

And seriously, I am so annoyed NVC is on break lol....I have always loved this season when we get so many days off.....but this time around i'm a little sad because that means that our wait is longer due to the holidays that are inevitably around the corner. Hopefully time passes quickly for all of us!

I absolutely love weekends but truly hate how NVC is off today LOL . . . so they withdrew the AOS fee from my bank account on Friday 10/10 but the status remains "In Process" ha-ha . . . hopefully it changes to PAID this week. I am planning to send out my documents on Thursday via FedEx for Friday delivery! I am soooo nervous and excited!
