Good old days at NVC in April! :star:

Everyone thought this immigration process was almost over when our cases arrived at NVC! :no:

Boy, we knew so little about what was in store for us back in April since this nightmare has quickly begun in May! :dead:

I got more stressed out at NVC than USCIS (since I thought I was going to be in and out of NVC in 1-2 months and was constantly let down every time they slowed down). Plus, I was worrying about getting a checklist! :wacko:

I think we happened to be unlucky in the immigration process. :no:

Exactly. I look back at how happy I was in April. After the whole sitting at the NBC and then getting stuck at Nebraska, I was excited. I was so sure I'd be with my husband to celebrate the 4th of July. So naive.

Exactly. I look back at how happy I was in April. After the whole sitting at the NBC and then getting stuck at Nebraska, I was excited. I was so sure I'd be with my husband to celebrate the 4th of July. So naive.

I also thought there was a good chance that I was going to be in the US in July when my case had arrived at NVC in April. :lol:

I did the math.... "At NVC in May and early June... That means I'll have an interview in July..." :whistle:

So I told all my friends that I would be in the US in July! :bonk: Big mouth! :rofl::rofl::rofl: They're like, "WHAT!? You're still in Canada!?" :rofl::rofl::rofl:

It's probably a typo. :idea: I have a feeling they meant to write "Aug 20th" instead. :oops:

I know many people get too excited when they get a CC. :content: They often make lots of typos! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I was more reserved... Told everyone we'll delay our POE till mid-August, just in time for schools !!!

16-APR-2014 Case shipped to NVC

23-MAY-2014 Case # assigned

6-JUN-2014 DS-260 forms submitted

10-JUN-2014 IV Docs received by NVC

I think they reviewed both ur packages with last scan date as per their new policy. But that means they actually worked on aug 27! Man I m praying they get done with whole August coming week!

Mine also changed to N/A on a Saturday! I couldn't believe it :D And then you can't even call NVC right away and keep having that adrenaline rush until then, right? ;)

Mine also changed to N/A on a Saturday! I couldn't believe it :D And then you can't even call NVC right away and keep having that adrenaline rush until then, right? ;)
