It's a bout time ... Waiting since May 2013 ... I hope we get CC soooon and we will have a party together !

But I'm worried a couple of people from Jordan got checklists for the marriage certificate and it's puzzling since we have both marriage contracts and certificates some people sent both and STILL got a freakin checklist!!!!

Proves my theory that they are buying time

Oh how wonderful it would be to party together but I have a longer time to wait I'm sure. You know isn't it funny that this seems to happen to everyone from the Middle East /

Arab counties. If it was any other organization they would have to abide by the laws of the land but hey are given just too much power over our lives. There should be some kind of recourse to prevent abuse like this. I HATE NVC I WANT TO BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, i received the AOS cover sheet after i paid AOS but i also received a Document Cover Sheet where i need to check off what docs i am incluidng in each package. i am supposed to send both cover sheets right? With the AOS one on top right?

Thanks!!!

I just called this afternoon, and they confirmed me that my file was still at NVC. :bonk:

They're not sure when they'll send my case to the Montreal Consulate. Aiden (NVC operator) said it would be easy to send a case to Montreal so they're not in a hurry to do so. :dead:

I hope they send my file to Montreal next Tuesday! :star: I don't want anything to do with NVC anymore! Fingers crossed!

It's normal to say pay now and it's not a avaliable to pay (that happened to us a few days after we pay the AOS fee) but we could only pay after they review the DS 261. :(

But we never know how they changed the new processing now so let's just wait and see... ;)

InshAllah :) I m expecting to hear something by the end of this month. And this month is dragging by for both me and hubby! I want a dec interview so badly!

I think you can still get a Dec interview as long as you get a CC by Nov 10-ish. :star:

However, some embassies/consulates close at the end of Dec so it's up to your embassy/consulate.

I have been tossing and turning in bed for 2 hours now. It's 3:10am and can't sleep. Nvc is such a torture really. And ucsis plus Nvc Urghhh. It will be 18 months for us in dec since we applied. t23126.gift23160.gift23160.gift23126.gif

I honestly don't know how much more I can take of this.

After reading Samreen's posting, I just recalled reading happy postings on the NVC thread back in April.

Everyone was so happy to be at NVC after getting stuck at USCIS for months. :) People told us that it was going to be super quick at NVC because they used to spend only a month at NVC if they didn't get checklists. They told us that waiting for the case number was the hardest part and everything after that was just a walk in the park. ^_^

Well, we all know how it turned out to be another USCIS since the review time got longer and longer (2 weeks -> 3 weeks -> 30 days -> 30 business days -> 60 calender days) and we had to wait for 30-45 days for the IV fee invoice.

We just didn't know what was in store for us back in April. :dead:
