Congratulations sweetheart. 2 good news in one day, its worth celebrating. Am so happy for you.

Am Short of words with what's happening. You can't give up my dear friend, you just have to keep calling till they sort it out, am still here for you.

I honestly don't know if I can anymore I'm just tired of it. Thought about not coming to the thread I feel I'm putting everyone down when they should be happy but you see I'm addicted but will keep trying. :)(L)

Now I really really hope that even next month they schedule interviews as late as this month. I don't think my checklist will be reviewed before the end of month and I really wanna get a dec int date :( new year then my anniversary and birthday in jan. I m praying I m with hubby in this one!!

God be with you, I'll be praying you get your Dec interview and an early one. :D. I don't really have much hope, I just saw KoKo post day or so ago he still doesn't have a interview for the Egyptian Embassy, I think they are falling back again. (L)

Inshalla you'll get a dec interview dear! I know how you must be feeling :( my birthday is in Januaray too and hubby's birthday this month :( but hey we made it this far and Inshalla it will be over sooner than you think :)

I need some advice. My wife took her medical early which we thought was smart because she ended up taking the sputum. Two months wait is over and the results were neg but we still don't have case complete and I'm afraid that she will not get an interview and her passport back by the time her medical expires on Dec 25th. Should she go ahead and repeat the medical now (thinking they will make her redo her sputum) or should we wait till we get and interview date. What scares me is I don't know if the exrays shows the same as before are they going to make her take the sputum again. This whole process is dragging me down, I really thought this would be over by now.

NONONONONONON and NO................................. get the medical again when you get the letter they send you when you receive your e-mail and you get that once you have received your interview date. It would just be a wast of money because you have no idea what can happen from here to then. I for one should have at least a CC but don't. I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?

Congratulations on your CC, maybe Monday you may get an interview date. Dwheels says interview date is based on PD, since my PD is March 2013 I got an earlier interview.

My last scan date is 11 sept so really really praying to be done by the end of this month since it's taking around 50 days right now for packages. I remember Uscis in nov dec and I definitely don't wanna feel that way this year as well :cry: I can't believe that since 16 months I have been stuck with these two hell holes! Please Allah take us out of this mess this month :cry:

I don't know what, but there is something about Nov and Dec. :wacko: We tend to get lonely in winter? :huh2:

When I found out my interview date (Nov 10), I thought "Yes, I'll be in the US for Thanksgiving!" :star:

But....Wait! I don't even like a turkey meal since I think turkey is kind of dry. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I also thought.... "Yeah, I'll be in the US for Christmas too!" :thumbs: Wait! I'm not even a Christian! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Columbus Day is a federal holiday so NVC won't be working on Oct 13th. :wacko:

There is Veterans Day (Nov 11) and Thanksgiving Day (Nov 27) next month. :unsure:

I didn't know Columbus Day was a federal holiday in the U.S. In fact, it is on Oct 12th , Spain's national holiday too, but it is Sunday

I don't know what, but there is something about Nov and Dec. :wacko: We tend to get lonely in winter? :huh2:

When I found out my interview date (Nov 10), I thought "Yes, I'll be in the US for Thanksgiving!" :star:

But....Wait! I don't even like a turkey meal since I think turkey is kind of dry. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I also thought.... "Yeah, I'll be in the US for Christmas too!" :thumbs: Wait! I'm not even a Christian! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I think it's because it's colder and we want someone else's body heat. That's what my husband was saying yesterday, but I bought him a hot water bottle last year so he should be set :P

I absolutely love turkey and Christmas even though I'm an atheist too. Christmas Day is my birthday so it's like a day where everyone has the day off, we're weirdly nice to each other AND I get to grow older too!

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I agree, I'm always too cold and my wife is always too warm so it works out for us lol. Thought she would be here by November and would have if not for our AOS checklist. Our timelines are fairly similar. She's booked flights to visit over thanksgiving and I see you had luck with your visit. Wondering if bringing an extra bag (of clothes to leave with me) would trigger suspicion. She doesn't have any big things so will probably just bring everything over here at POE. Would help if she's able to bring a bag on her visit as well.
