I saw some people on the interview thread getting their interview dates for Nov. Did you call if not call. Much luck praying you get yours today/night.

That is so difficult! I can understand it is hard to let over Christmas holidays, hence your landlord wanting you to commit to end of Jan. I think if you get a CC end of Oct you would get a December interview, but with NVC changing their interview scheduling it is all a little mysterious at the moment (people with CC from 10 Sept still haven't got a date) and I don't think it's clear how that is going to pan out with so many people waiting for interviews and only a limited amount of spaces.

Also if you look on the Consulate website, there is an update that visa appts in Nov are going to be disrupted by the G20 Summit in Brisbane, which could lead to a backlog. (However it links to the Canberra site and also states they will prioritise immigrant visas, so it might be ok)

If I were you, I would bite the bullet and pay through Jan just to be safe.

I have a question if any one can answer it for me plz i have only one name,no last name in my name. Problm is i had to collect police certificate from 4 different countries but in Arab countries like UAE (dubai) they alwayz add your father name after your name, so in my dubai police certificate they added my father name too. So now it looks like i have 3 name.. i am afraid will nvc give me check list saying how come i have different name in dubai police certificate.

i just spoke to an operator at the NVC who informed me that as of today all packages will be reviewed based on the most recent scan date. I.E I have an IV pkg scan date 8/8 and an AOS checklist correction scan date of 8/15 then I sent in a document that I realized I forgot for my IV on 9/9 so nothing now will be looked at until 9/9. So those 60 day wait to reveiw that I received when I submitted my IV and checklist now do not apply.

I think it's been this way all along but so sorry you will have to wait longer. They need to hire more people!

When I sent in my IV package I got a 60 days till review and when I sent in my AOS checklist response I got an 60 days till review, but since I sent in a piece of mail to them after they will wait until 60 days after the last piece of mail to review all together.

RE-POST-------IF ANYONE CAN HELP--------

I am filling out my DS-260 and where I have to fill out my address details, it ask for any other address(es) where I may have lived afer I turned 16, I have lived in Australia for almost 5 yrs so logically I should just go ahead and fill out the address(es) in Australia. Now here's the twist my wife (petetioner) or her lawyer I should say, while filling out my USCIS (I130) application completely forgot to mention the part that I lived overseas. So USCIS had no info that I lived in Australia. Now when I submit my DS-260 , would I get a checklist of some sort, or would there be any sort of complications at the interview, as they might see it as we tried to withold the info. Is there any hope or am I completely doomed. Any help is much appreciated
