I fell asleep and just woke up and thought of you. I am so sorry sweety why are they making this to be so complicated when it isn't?

I don't get it :/ someone needs to smack some sense into their heads. I had so much faith in Sylvia but she's been disappointing. Octavio said he's working hard, then he possibly will?

Please keep your hope and inshAllah we will hear back today? Just keep calling them, I seriously fail to understand all of this.

Please take some rest and have a nice meal. InshAllah things will be better in no time. God has his own way of doing things and sometimes we don't understand the reasoning, but in the end it is all worth it. InshAllah there's a very good reason behind this delay and soon it'll all be resolved. We all love you and are praying immensely for your case complete.

Awww thank you for thinking of me and I'm happy you fell asleep you needed the rest Yes I had great hope in Sylvia I was so happy when she took our case I though the way she answered me was rude but then thought she was most likely tired. Yes I'm hoping Octavio steps up to the plate, I've been looking on the net to see if I can find who the higher ups are for NVC so I can complain to them but haven't had any luck at all. I'll keep hunting you never know.

I do believe as you that God has his plans and there is a reason we don't know about I know deep inside he will make this work and it's just a matter of time.

I totally agree with you sol, I am sick and tired of those who had shorter wait, complain so bitterly. Don' t get me wrong I am happy for them, but come on people, your wait is nothing compaired to others. look at you, and samreen waiting for over 16 months. Even me I had to wait for my kid to turn 21, last year before she could file for me. I lost my green card in 2010, because I overstayed in my country due to mom' s death. I have not seen my kid in 4and a half years. So I totally agree with you some people need to SHUT UP!!!!

OMG Ebu, I would think they would make an exception since your dear mother passed away, but they have no heart they just don't care. . But I'm happy you will be seeing your children soon and what a reunion that will be What joy you will all feel in your hearts and souls.

Happy belated independence. Yea the rain have been pouring non stop. No interview date yet, hopefully by next week, yes the lottery is over now so the embassy should have time for us now. Am glad you have someone to help you pack.

Have been in the process 12months and 3weeks and the process really sucks. I guess others are so lucky to go thru this whole process quickly. Soloenta and Samreen , I really pray you get thru ASAP. Ebu am so sorry you lost your green card and you haven't seen your daughter since 4 and half years, its really a torture. I haven't seen my hubby for over 13months and I can feel the pains, its so painful. I pray everyone get thru the process ASAP and be united with our loved ones and family.

I understand sweetie, this is truly cruel and unusual punishment on every immigrant waiting to immigrate to the states. Hopeful this pain called nvc will be over for everyone soon.

Yes me and soloenta and msc and few others have been through the hardest and most terrible wait. No one can understand our pain really. And on top of that Nvc won't stop playing games with this girl. It's breaking my heart to see this happening to her. It would have been still better to tell her about the checklist when her AOS was reviewed or even now if they confirm it and ask to bring it to the interview. What's the point of her being hanged in the middle. I hate Nvc so much. It's worst than Uscis.

Oh sound lovely the combination of foods. I hate the heat there is no way 110 and humidity sounds like my city of birth in the summer I was born in Guayaquil.

Lease is up 7th November and landlord is happy to extend but if we don't vacate by middle of December then we have to pay through 31st Jan. Should get a CC by end October at latest. Do you think we will get a December interview. Just don't know what to do. Imagine if Visa is denied. The children and I will be homeless. I think I am just going to bite the bullet and pay through January. Just venting!!

NVC a bit slow today.

That is so difficult! I can understand it is hard to let over Christmas holidays, hence your landlord wanting you to commit to end of Jan. I think if you get a CC end of Oct you would get a December interview, but with NVC changing their interview scheduling it is all a little mysterious at the moment (people with CC from 10 Sept still haven't got a date) and I don't think it's clear how that is going to pan out with so many people waiting for interviews and only a limited amount of spaces.

Also if you look on the Consulate website, there is an update that visa appts in Nov are going to be disrupted by the G20 Summit in Brisbane, which could lead to a backlog. (However it links to the Canberra site and also states they will prioritise immigrant visas, so it might be ok)

If I were you, I would bite the bullet and pay through Jan just to be safe.
