Yeah ceac status now shows "READY"

That means the shipment have been tracking was actually mine. It was delivered to the embassy on Friday and the status just changed to ready few minutes ago.

Better than me, I don't even get to touch my medical results until I get my visa package. The doctors send it straight to the embassy :P luckily it's not three hours away though.

Not even then! The only thing you get back is the x-ray. Better ask for a copy from the doctor. I got from mine a copy of the vaccination record for my kids' school enrollments. I wonder if they do give back the medical results at POE.

By the way, I'm guessing I can pack our x-rays in the luggage as they're not needed for POE. Please, someone correct me if it's a bad idea.

Collected our passports and visa packets early this afternoon from the Embassy reception. I was really surprised that each of my derivative family members received their own visa packet (brown envelope). Here they are, exactly as received.

I know someone have said something about this sometime ago but didn't understand because have not gotten to that stage yet. My status on CEAC now shows ready and i noticed that there is additional extra two figure numbers after my case number. Then there is an extra consulate code.

LGS2014XXXXXX 01 LGS.

Why is there extra two figures and then the consulate code again?

I think you're supposed to put them into your carry-on(s).

Yup, just found it: "X-rays – Must be hand-carried with you, not packed in your luggage."

PS: As for the luggage and as a woman, I can sort of relate to your wife :innocent: 12 suitcases are still better than 18 :D I don't even want to think of packing my stuff. I am really curious how many pieces I'll have in the end

The "01" indicates the number of dependants for the case, but since it's just you without any children it counts as 1.

To distinguish multiple applicants on the same case. We had 01 to 06 appended to our case number. They got printed on the visa foils as well. You do ignore them when you pay the GC fee at ELIS.

Those are the clips I used for my Bona Fide marriage evidence for the Skype conversations/calls. I haven't even copied all of them, most of them I think are lost cause I can't find them. :D God willing it will be enough for these monsters. :D (F)(L)(F)

Really glad you told me... thanks. I'll have one of the kids carry them rolled.

Regarding the luggage, I'll take stock later today and re-evaluate. I'm just worried about the logistics at Dulles. None of the kids is strong enough to handle a third push-cart without hurting others.

Did you count your husband twice?

After the drama with NVC, I thought the chaos is over. I got my case completion by calling them. The rep gave the good news which we all are waiting for. He said that your case is completed. So I asked,"are you sure" cos I had some doubts of my own. He asure me that our case was done without any problems. Me and my husband were thrilled. Two days after, I got a checklist email from NVC, asking my husband to bring his police certificate. And asking me to arrange co sponsor for my husband. So called NVC, they were saying that my income is below poverty limits for 4 member of the family. But I have only 3 including my husband. I made 25050 last year which is above the guidelines. I am making way above the limits. I have submitted my employers letter which mention my income is 32000. So I don't know why they are asking me for cosponsor. Now they are say that in their system my family size is 4. Pls help, how can I fix this so my husband can have a smooth interview. They are also asking him to bring police certificate. But I have already submitted all the require documents to NVC.
I am so lost and stressed out, can't even concentrate on my work .... Pls help

Mine left on the 14th (Tuesday), signed for on the 17th (Friday) and this morning it was scanned into the system and it shows ready. We have the same interview date. I wish us success.
