Collected our passports and visa packets early this afternoon from the Embassy reception. I was really surprised that each of my derivative family members received their own visa packet (brown envelope). Here they are, exactly as received.

LOL... After a brief shouting match, I thought we settled on 10 pieces. This morning, two more old suitcases suddenly materialized in the master bedroom... just sitting there empty. Wife acts as if she had nothing to do with them. Hmmm !

My wife has completed the Medical Appointment.

We have registered on this site: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/ (Colombia/Engish)

* We have we have confirmed the Consular Appointment online (interview; date and time).

* We have registered courier branch name and address.

I can not make her ASC/Applicant Service Center appointment for some reason.

Does a CR1 require her to go to the Applicant Service Center (ASC) to get her biometrics completed before her interview? Or is that conducted at the Embassy? Or is that conducted when she arrives in the US?

Does anyone know?

I called NVC on Friday and my huband's interview has been scheduled for November 26!! Case complete was 10/10/14. So excited!!

I also got an email with the interview letter on Friday and they are not requesting anything extra to be submitted at interview.

After the drama with NVC, I thought the chaos is over. I got my case completion by calling them. The rep gave the good news which we all are waiting for. He said that your case is completed. So I asked,"are you sure" cos I had some doubts of my own. He asure me that our case was done without any problems. Me and my husband were thrilled. Two days after, I got a checklist email from NVC, asking my husband to bring his police certificate. And asking me to arrange co sponsor for my husband. So called NVC, they were saying that my income is below poverty limits for 4 member of the family. But I have only 3 including my husband. I made 25050 last year which is above the guidelines. I am making way above the limits. I have submitted my employers letter which mention my income is 32000. So I don't know why they are asking me for cosponsor. Now they are say that in their system my family size is 4. Pls help, how can I fix this so my husband can have a smooth interview. They are also asking him to bring police certificate. But I have already submitted all the require documents to NVC.

I am so lost and stressed out,can't even concentrate on my work .... Pls help

Please call NVC tomorrow and request a supervisor and get it figured our.

So you have never sponsored anyone else? So is you , your husband and a child. So 3 no more. No adult children or anything. Children living with other parent?

Also it could be maybe the certificate is expired and they want a new one. I would get one just to be safe.

No, I have never sponser anyone before and yes its just three of us including my husband. His PCC is not expired it is valid until December. I am going to call NVC first thing in the morning.I will somehow try to speak with supervisor Silvia.I just have to get up 3 in the morning to get hold of her. Hope someone can resolve this mess, created by NVC.

Super bummed up about this.

My case was completed last October 15. Guys, do we have to call NVC to ask for our interview date or we will just have to wait for their email?

Yes I have heard. I know the HEP is optional but sometimes people don;t know and get scared and feel they will get denied if they don;t get all the shots the doctor says.

I just had my medical today and was told the second round shot will be November 15th and the third round will be April 15th. I was told i can take the remaining shots in U.S if am no longer in Nigeria.

I agree with Dwheels. I don't think it's required to have Hepatitis A & B shots if you're an adult.

Maybe your doctor had extra supplies of Hepatitis A and B vaccines and wanted to make extra $$$?

MMR Measles, Mumps, Rubella. ("MR" and "MM" are not enough). You need MMR

Varicella - If you had "Chicken Pox" disease, no vaccine is needed

Oh my gosh, just saw the new October 2014 I-130 filers thread and it makes me realise how long it's been!

I should really be going to sleep so I don't turn up at Knightsbridge Doctors tomorrow looking like a member of the undead, but I'm just so dang excited! Not for being picked apart and poked by doctors, but for getting so far in the process

I can't wait to get tomorrow over and done with so I can just look forward to actually setting foot inside the embassy and totally blowing the document intake officer away with my sudden "IFORGOTMYMIDDLENAMEONTHEDS-260PLEASEADDITIT'SSARAH" as soon as I reach the window. My whole life has built up to that moment.
