Just wanted to update the group on Post NVC to the London Embassy, so others have an idea on the timeline for this process.

CEAC Site changed to "In Transit" on Wed. 10/15

CEAC Site changed to "Ready" this morning Fri. 10/17

I read a post on FB last night that someone said the NVC actually ships your docs the day before your CEAC updates to "In Transit". I think that is the case

Same! Our files were in the same envelope I guess. Our case switched to Ready sometime in the last 2 hours.

The DHL package I was tracking was signed for at 2:34pm local time in London. That was fast work scanning our case files if they were indeed in that package!

I think we were in the same package and KOKO signed for our docs lol I was so happy to see how fast the Embassy scanned our case files.

When is your interview? My husband's is on Nov. 17th 9am. We were going to try for an earlier date as my Mom hasn't been well but now it's so soon anyway so it's not worth it.

I noticed a package was delivered an hour and a half ago and signed for by JAMES, shortly before our CEAC status changed to Ready. KOKO signed for a package yesterday. I don't know which package our case file was in but I'm well pleased to know IT IS NO LONGER AT NVC!!!!

YAY!! Now you should see the dates change after the interview every time they touch your case (if it takes more than one day to issue the visa).

I can now sleep at night knowing that were NO LONGER AT NVC! :joy: :joy: :joy:

I see a waybill being shipped to UAE this morning but my CEAC still shows at NVC and I think there are at least three of us who will be interviewing here in early Nov...would they put all together or does everyone have a separate waybill? Thanks!!!

I suspect it took 1 business day after DHL picked up the package containing our case file before the status on CEAC changed to "In Transit." Check again later today and on Monday!

I think they put multiple case files in one DHL package.

I will be calling them today. Why do they have to make it so stressful and painful right up until the last possible step. I thought my days of calling the NVC were over!

I have not seen any waybills headed to Montreal lately, and I have not seen any Canadians post that their case is in transit. Just Mandiimoose who did e-filing. Getting an interview booked on Oct 3rd, for Nov 3rd, and getting the P4 letter 1 business day later, I really did not expect this. NVC never ceases to dissapoint me.

Oh wait, it took them only 56 days to process my last document I sent in July, instead of the alotted "60" they had advised. One small victory.

I just called NVC and talked to Todd. He confirmed me that my file was still at NVC. He didn't know when it was going to be sent to Montreal.

I was thinking about asking for an earlier interview date as well, but it looks like there is no point in doing it now.

Even if NVC sends my file to Montreal next Monday, it arrives there on Tuesday. It takes 1-3 days for the Montreal Consulate to scan my file. It'll be around the 24th (next Friday) by the time my file gets ready. My interview date is Nov 10th so it makes little difference.

That really stinks! So sorry your are having to wait so long....

BTW...take a Tylenol just as you get your injections and it really help the pain and swelling...make sure you aren't allergic to it though...

@k.dlg We thought about trying to get our date changed sooner but with it being only a month from today (11/17) it almost seems pointless.

Did you get your date scheduled earlier when you were in the process?

Yeah, you're better off having more time getting all the loose ends tied up in the UK before making the big move during that month! Yes we did. We weren't as bad off as another UK filer, but we were scheduled almost 2 months out from our CC which seemed ridiculous compared to other timelines at the time, so after pushing them twice, they finally gave us an earlier date that put us at almost 6 weeks instead of 8 weeks from CC.
