Interview scheduled! November 21st. The Friday before Thanksgiving week isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I suppose I should be thankful we finally have an interview date.

FINALLY VISA ISSUED YESTERDAY.....THANK YOU ALL.....COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT MY VISAJOURNEY FAMILY

I will update on POE as soon as possible.....hopefully this weekend my wife and I will finally be together.

Hello everyone here! I got my case complete as of 10/07 and just got the interview scheduled today for nov 12th, by the grace of almighty God!

I'm not sure how to add myself to the spreadsheet? :help:

Actually I think I just did, not too sure but I submitted the request through the link on the cover page.

Congratulations... less than a month for the interview.

 

 

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

11/29/2014: POE JFK.

Here is a very informative review of the Abu Dhabi POE procedures from June, complete with pictures. I think Abu Dhabi has the only POE facility in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, if I'm not mistaken.

What a feeling !! I'm still giddy since my "Issued" earlier in the day.

Hello guys, Its been a while I have posted. Just busy settling in and adjusting to the new place and of course weather!

As mentioned the POE was super smooth and easy. No questions asked.

I landed on a Thursday evening, and Friday morning itself I went to get my SSN done. And I was surprised to receive my SSN card in mail the following Tuesday. Imagine less than a week. After a really long visa process, this was a complete surprise for something to be done so fast!

Good luck to all my VJ friends who have their interviews, and also those who are awaiting CC and interview dates!

You guys will always be in my prayers!

03/01/2014: I-130 Approved (finally after 9 months of no activity at USCIS)

My CEAC status still says "at NVC" and my interview is on Nov. 4. This really stressing me out. :/

Mine is still at NVC too, and my interview is Nov 3. I am sure the case will be there in time, but my hopes of getting an earlier interview date are vanishing. My husband (who has only seen our kids for a 3 week holiday in the last 7 months) is still hopeful I'll be able to request for one slightly earlier. And my 2 year old asks and cries for daddy multiple times per day. This on top of the uncertainty and not booking travel are starting to get to me! I keep telling myself we are nearly there, we are nearly there, just hold on.

My CEAC shows ready as of Tuesday ( the package I was tracking was indeed mine...Yay! ) I have registered with the Us travel documents website over the phone as I found the website very confusing. Anyways still finalizing travel arrangements for my mother, so we have not yet scheduled the medical. We will be looking to make an early morning appointment as those results are ready same day :goofy:

To register for the delivery of your passport , just go to the website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ click your region, as soon as you are there, they will ask you is this your first time applying for a visa and visiting our site? you will click No, then it will bring you to the main page. Then you will scroll down under immigrant information, it will be like this

Immigrant Visa Information

Just click on Select document delivery address, once you click this. it will take you to this page

More Actions

To register your document delivery return address online, click here.

To change your current document delivery address selection, click here.

To register or change your document delivery return address through our call center, click here.

Then click on To register your document delivery return address online , it will take you to sign in but if you dont have a registered email on it before, then just scroll down and you will New user registration, then click on it and it will take you to the registration page and once you are done with it, then sign in and then go you will start by typing your address and so on

Checking in in this thread . We have our case complete since 10-10-2014.

Still reading and learning about this step of the process.

What do we have to do at the ustraveldocs website ?

funny thing is that my country is not on the list.

or is this the same as the YATRI system ( https://ais.usvisa-info.com ) ?
