I guess I got the latest possible interview date so far...lol

Called on Monday afternoon interview scheduled for NOVEMBER 28TH :whistle:

Got interview e-mail (P4) about an hour later :jest:

Interview scheduled! November 21st. The Friday before Thanksgiving week isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I suppose I should be thankful we finally have an interview date.

1.Anybody know how long will it take after submitting 221(g) requested documents and passport to VFS??

2.When submitting documents at VFS the staff said "you will receive your passport within 4 days". Anybody have recent experience with VFS?

Interview conclusion:

In interview CO said everything is good they need that one document for clear me. And he said "you no need to come for interview again just that required document and passport submit to dropbox".

I have heard once consulate gets your docs from VFS, it takes roughly a week for them to process. So hopefully you will see your status change online to Issued by the end of next week. Good luck!

Does anyone know how long Ciudad Juarez, Mexico takes to assign interview dates and who gets contacted the attorney or us?

What emails does NVC have on file for you? Whoever they have that's where the Interview letter goes to. Even those with lawyers should always call NVC and give them the Beneficiary and Petitioners emails.

Package 3 is for K1 people. Thats where they get all the documents they need to prepare for interview. We get no such thing.

For those that have interview dates with no letter, did you find out about the date by calling or did they send you an email? I see some from early Oct have dates already...my PD is May 2013 so I was wondering if that would help or not? Cheers!

It's not your PD date its your Case complete date is so late in the game so you would be last in the queue if you are even in the November queue. They may have completed interview scheduling for your embassy.

We just got the interview email (P4) from NVC. I'm wondering if anyone else has the same confusion: the letter details the documents we need to bring, and there are none. Not a one is listed as I, P, S, T, etc.

Is all the advice on VJ to bring originals and copies just because this process is so f$%^#d up from the start that we don't trust State any farther than we can throw them?

If so, the wasted time and energy we expend in this process must be counted in the trillions of dollars.

And yes, of course my husband will bring originals and copies of everything, DNA samples, candy wrappers from 1998, etc.

Even though on everyone's website it says bring originals remember many embassy still do DCF also if someone is expedited they bring all what would be sent to NVC to embassy so that why that is there.

Yes everyone should have copies of what they sent to NVC for their own records. Things do get lost. But whatever you submitted to NVC you do not need to replicate and run out and get originals or certified copies again.

I will need to swab your mouth okay to see if you are in a bonafide relationship :devil: . Hey I think I just may patient that. No evidence need to be submitted just swab the testing will prove who is in love . (oh if it was just that simple right). :goofy:

Hi all - just getting stuff ready for my medical and interview (like to be prepared!)

I know I need to show my DS-260 confirmation at my interview, can anyone shed any light on what this looks like? I've got so many NVC emails in my 'visa' folder in my hotmail, I'm scared I'm looking at the wrong one... Does it say:

"Thank You

Your Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application (DS-260) was sent to the National Visa Center (NVC) for review. Please allow up to 30 business days for the NVC to complete the review."

At the top? And then has a barcode at the bottom?

USCIS (239 days):

04.18.2013 - NOA1

12.13.2013 - NOA2 via email; I-130 approved. Shipped to NVC

NVC (274 days):

12.30.2013 - Arrived at NVC

01.27.2014 - Received case no. & IIN

02.07.2014 - Completed & submitted DS-261 form online

02.13.2014 - Paid AOS bill

02.18.2014 - AOS showing as 'paid'

03.18.2014 - Invoiced for IV bill (finally!)

03.19.2014 - Made payment for IV bill

03.21.2014 - IV bill showing PAID

03.24.2014 - Completed DS-260 online

03.29.2014 - Mailed IV Packet

04.26.2014 - IV packet all approved, false checklist from NVC for AOS packet

05.07.2014 - AOS packet sent
