For those that have interview dates with no letter, did you find out about the date by calling or did they send you an email? I see some from early Oct have dates already...my PD is May 2013 so I was wondering if that would help or not? Cheers!

I called the evening of the day I got case complete; may have been lucky because they were still scheduling interviews for November and were able to tell me interview date and time over the phone. P4 email was sent tonight.

By the way, Texas is very pleasant wintertime. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Cheers from Big D!

Finally received P4 IL email at around 1am eastern. Just in time for the wife's medical! #winning :)

CEAC status is still "at NVC" for now. Yes, I checked my email and the case status at 3:30am. That's how much I want out of NVC. :)

It's barely 5 am here but I've been up since 4, developed this habit ever since we got close to being out of NVC. So can relate to the early early morning email checking....LOL!

CC on September 30, it's been more than a week and no CC email yet. C'mon NVC. Also, I don't know how it works, but when I tracked shipments to India on the DHL website, I found one headed to Mumbai, originated on October 6 from Boston, MA. I believe my case file is on that shipment since the lady at NVC told me that they send over the case to the consulate after the interview is scheduled.

Haha... The NVC is turning us all into sleep deprived smartphone addicted Zombies! :)

I don't usually check email in the middle of the night but I woke up and wanted to have a quick chat with the wife who was starting her day in London. Then I saw the email. Then I checked CEAC. Then I updated VJ... In that order! :)

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

We just got the interview email (P4) from NVC. I'm wondering if anyone else has the same confusion: the letter details the documents we need to bring, and there are none. Not a one is listed as I, P, S, T, etc.

Is all the advice on VJ to bring originals and copies just because this process is so f$%^#d up from the start that we don't trust State any farther than we can throw them?

If so, the wasted time and energy we expend in this process must be counted in the trillions of dollars.

And yes, of course my husband will bring originals and copies of everything, DNA samples, candy wrappers from 1998, etc.

I had the same type of letter but I think we should briing everything anyway, in case the documents are misplaced or missed on the way before the interview. We never know..

I think it is just a standard format and some people are actually getting I, P, or whatever..

My hus will bring his "doudou" just in case..

Yes, I called NVC twice that day: because listening to their message for 45+ minutes in the morning was just not enough...I knew "my call was important to them" so I gave them another one and I knew they were scheduling interviews on October 3rd and was hoping to get the date and I was sitting in Dallas traffic on the way home bored out of my mind, so I called them again :)
