DSwheels and Saylin I would like to thank you very much for all of your help on this journey. Your detailed instructions and patience with all of us helped me get through a very long process. Your instructions were so detailed that I was able to get through the entire process without a RFE or Checklist. No way could I have done this without you guys and all the members on VJ. I am so moved that you guys volunteer your time to help people in such an amazing and necessary way. I pray for you guys all the time. Soloenta, your moral support for everyone is truly priceless. I have been encouraged just reading some of your replies. You are always in my prayers as well.

P.S. Now you guys help me pray for my hubby's interview.....please....

No interview letter yet......Interview was scheduled 10/3.

Does he make enough above the poverty guideline to self- sponsor? That is an option.

The AP you are in will be like that until your return the necessary paperwork for the Affidavit of support and also get the DNA test. Don;t lose hope now. I know this is a stomach punch but tomorrow is a new day and clearer heads will prevail.

He does not have a contract right now. So he does not make enough. I will get it together and try to make this work. I will keep you guys informed. Thanks again.

I have just received an e-mail (Interview Letter P4) from NVC regarding the interview.

They have confirmed the interview date and listed documents that my husband needs to bring at the interview.

I have a question regarding the document status;

F The NVC did not request this form or document

Does this mean that he does not need to bring such documents to the interview?

Tbthree ... i cant believe that your husband was told that he need co sponsor .. omg .. even my wife didnt make enough last year but shes making enough this yar even more then they need .. and nvc approved our I 864 .. Now i am afraid if american consulate in pakistan are gonna tell me the same ####### ?.. is it only for african embassies or all over the world ..please help ?

My interview went well because of all the prayers and positive vibes from you guys. I will have to pickup passport on Oct 9th. Thank you for being supportive. My dear friend Solenta thank you for the prayers. My prayers are for you. Hope everything goes well for you & your hubby. . The questions CO asked were, how did u meet? What is he doing? How did he go to USA? His brothers name? His work? And asked for wedding pics. That's all. Pls everyone prepare for your interviews. Good luck

Good for you, I know how easy it is to give up an release all the pressure but in the long run it's well worth it to make the last effort. I know how you feel sweet heart and understand how heartbroken and betrayed you feel. But I'll happy your going to go for it!

It was Monalisa22 that was told that. Its a case by case Co decision. Pakistan is pretty strict also. No its not just African countries. I have seen quite a few Out of India and Pakistan get the 221g to get a co-sponsor for this very thing.

It all depends how below the line you are really.

It's just their code that they didn't ask for it. Unless you had things that were incomplete there's nothing you need to bring but your copies if you have them if not no worries.

NVC is slow everyday! 6 months our case has been at NVC and 1 month now since case complete. I want it shipped to London NOW.
